  • Creating farms of unique websites

    13 avril 2011, par

MediaSPIP platforms can be installed as a farm, with a single "core" hosted on a dedicated server and used by multiple websites.

  • FFMPEG recording get an error when camera is turned off

29 novembre 2019, par Bogdan Rudnytskyi

I have a video recording service using ffmpeg.
When the camera is turned off, I don’t get an error and the service freezes.
Please help me how I can configure recording so that this service crashes with an error ? (and I will use Supervisor).
Maybe I need to insert some flag ?

  • Can non-standard sampling rates be used with AAC encoding ?

19 novembre 2019, par Ahmed Hawary

I am trying to up-sampling an M4a file from 41000 to another non-standard sampling rate let’s say 5000.

    ffmpeg -i audio.wav -ar 5000 audio_.wav

This worked fine with wav files whoever it didn’t work with m4a. Any ideas why ?

If non-standard sampling rates don’t work with AAC I need any documentation or reference for that.

  • Scaling and stacking 2 videos

    31 octobre 2019, par Gambit2007

I have 2 inputs and I want to scale, crop and put them on top of each other at the same time. My command should look something like this :

    ffmpeg -i input1 -i input2 -filter_complex crop=10000:5000:1000:0,scale=3840:1536 vstack output.mp4

I know I need to use chaining (?) but I tried to look it up online and couldn’t really get it to work.

So what would be the correct syntax the scale and crop both inputs and then put them vertically on top of each other while using ’-filter_complex’ only once ?
