Le fichier zip ici présent contient uniquement les sources de MediaSPIP en version standalone.

Converting DTS to AAC with ffmpeg shifts spoken audio to the right

mkvmovies tomp4, like so :$ ffmpeg -i source.mkv -c:v copy -c:a aac destination.mp4By doing this, the audio stream gets converted from the original DTS :
Stream #0:1: Audio: dts (DTS), 48000 Hz, 5.1(side), fltp, 1536 kb/s (default)To AAC :
Stream #0:1(und): Audio: aac (LC) (mp4a / 0x6134706D), 48000 Hz, 5.1, fltp, 394 kb/s (default)The resulting file plays just fine, except that the spoken audio (what I am assuming would be sent to the central channel in a 5.1 configuration) sounds clearly shifted to the right, when listening through the MacBook’s built-in speakers or my stereo headphones. Note that music and other sound effects appear unaffected, properly balanced. Also note that I have been able to reproduce this behavior with a variety of source files.

ffmpeg produces "is_avc" = false with h264_nvenc & tee muxer
14 août 2018, par Areeb111I am using ffmpeg for encoding MKV (Matroska Video files) to 2x MP4 (H264 - 720p Main@L4) & (H264 - 360p Baseline@L3.1).
Having really strange problem when using
-c:v h264_nvencandtee muxerthen the produced output file is havingis_avc=falseeven i have checked the same input matroska file with another server running with Intel QuickSync-c:v h264_qsvwith the same command then the produced output file isis_avc=true.The main goal that i want the
is_avc=trueis because the files must be played usingnginx-vod-modulewhich requires the AVC video format to be streamed.Steps to reproduce the problem :

Can't play MP4 after download
14 août 2018, par joeI am using a downloader program in Firefox to download videos playing in Firefox. Most of the time final MP4 is playable. But sometimes I get MP4 file that looks good(shows file size) but shows no length of video in file explorer.
I get this error log.
Could not get information from media 'ESPN 2 (HD) Live Stream Channel' from file 'C:\Download\dwHelper\ESPN 2 (HD) Live Stream Channel.mp4'. The file might be corrupted.

C :\Download\dwHelper\ESPN 2 (HD) Live Stream Channel.mp4 : Invalid data found when processing input
It looks like moov atom is missing thus can’t aggregate PART file into final playable MP4.
I understand that during download, PART file is created. Then later PART is aggregated into final MP4.
So question is how can I make this MP4 to play ?
or is it impossible to play cus moov atom was not properly downloaded ?Any thoughts ?
