• ffmpeg video encoding progress bar

  When I run the conversion in the browser it simply shows the white blank space. Only after the conversion process page will load.

  Please suggest how to implement a progress bar which shows the progress to the user when the video conversion takes place.

  I have this in my php script

  exec("ffmpeg -i filename.flv -sameq -ab 128 -s 640x480 filename.mp4");

  so how should I change this script to get the progress details even to a file or directly as ouput in the page. Please can anyone give me a complete script/code to explain it in detail. Because I think I cant get the complete answers and so I am confused on what to do with this

• Is it possible to delete metadata like proprietary from a .mp4 or any other file ? [closed]

  I would like to remove the following metadata from a .mp4 file :
  
See image from File —> Right click —> Properties —> Details

  


  Does the OS automatically always "fill" those fields ? I'm new to this.
The data I'm most interested in removing is the "Owner" and "Computer" fields.

  


  I've already tried...

  


  Using ExifTools :

  


  exiftool -all= hpp.mp4


  


  Using mat2 :

  


  mat2 hpp.mp4


  


  And using ffmpeg :

  


  ffmpeg -i hpp.mp4 -map_metadata -1 -c:v copy -c:a copy out.mp4


  


  Exactly nothing changed..

  



• dash.js four channels audio stream not working

  Does dash.js supports 4 channels in the audio stream ?

  I’m using webm, mp4 container : h254 and acc audio stream.

  For the case that the acc audio stream is 2 channels it works fine, both video and audio play correctly.

  I’m using FFMPEG to create the files and WOWZA to setup the DASH streaming.

  For the case that the acc audio stream is 4 channels I get the following error :

   Video can't be played because the file is corrupt.

  Command line to generate the 2-channels file :

  ffmpeg -i video_in.mp4 -i audio_in_4ch.wav -c:v copy -c:a aac -ac 2 output_2channels.mp4

  Command line to generate the 4-channels file :

  ffmpeg -i video_in.mp4 -i audio_in_4ch.wav -c:v copy -c:a aac -ac 4 output_4channels.mp4

  This is the fmmpeg -i information printed for each file :
