• Image scaling boundaries in FFMEG

  I am implementing my own version of the bilinear and bicubic scaling algorithms to understand how ffmpeg does the scaling. So, I compare the results I get with the results of the ffmpeg. A couple days agora I had trouble implementing the bilinear version because my bilinear scaled images were different from the ffmpeg ones. With the help of people in the IRC chat I understood that the ffmpeg duplicates the nearest original pixel when the index of the neighboring pixels to interpolate is out of the original image bounds.

  In the same perspective, what does the bicubic version in ffmpeg does to out of the original bounds pixels ? I tried duplicating the nearest original pixel (like in bilinear) and my scaled image is not the same as the ffmpeg one.

  Do I have to something like this ? Fill the boundaries of a matrix using Bicubic interpolation

• FFmpeg : Generating .ts files and adding Metadata to them [closed]

  Before I was following the steps :

  1. Create some metadata :

     id3taggenerator -o 1.id3 -artist "Emma Stone"
     
     id3taggenerator -o 2.id3 -artist "Patricia Clarkson"

  2. Create a file saying where to place the metadata in the file :

     68 id3 /path/to/file/1.id3
     
     78 id3 /path/to/file/2.id3

  3. Segment the files and include the metadata

     mediafilesegmenter -f video -M meta.txt video.mp4

  I want to do something similar to this, but with FFmpeg.

  I am also wondering if I could first segment the file into .ts files and add metadata directly to those ?

  I am having trouble finding the solution on the website. Any help or resources would be great. Thanks !

  I’ve tried everything bucar after searching and I have not managed to unite vine.co videos to upload to youtube. Sometimes youtube error notifies Encryption, sometimes the video is cut audio to half, and in other cases the audio does not match the video.

  things I’ve tried

  ---

  file '/path/to/1.mp4'
  
  file '/path/to/2.mp4'
  
  ffmpeg -f concat -i list.txt -c copy result.mp4

  ---

  ffmpeg -i concat:"1.mp4|2.mp4" -codec copy result.mp4

  ---

  ffmpeg -i "concat:1.mp4|2.mp4" -c copy result.mp4

  The video is created, but always happen any errors or youtube audio conversion error tells me.

  We are talking of joining between 300 and 1,000 videos of between 3 and 6 seconds.

  From what I’ve read all would have to have the same frame rate and the same resolution.

  I have also proven to mp4box and post on youtube gives me trouble conversion

  mp4box-cat 1.mp4 -cat 2.mp4 -new result.mp4

  And not more I can do, I hope you can help me to attach a lot of videos on console. A greeting and thanks.
