  • Media Type Unrecognized with FFMPEG file generated

    I have an upload problem with the Twitter API.
    The problem is caused by codecs I think.

    I use FFMPEG to concatenate an audio file and an image, so to build a 30-second video to a file not exceeding in the 1MB.

    Here is the code that allows me to build this file and then upload the video via the Twitter API :

    I am trying to implement stop feature for live video streaming using node-media-server.

    Basically I want to stop node-media-server completely, restart it later.

  • Retrieving and Saving media metadata using FFmpeg

    I want to read the metadata in media files and then save that metadata in a text/xml file, so that I can later insert that data in my database. I would prefer to use ffmpeg.

    Also is the same thing possible with MediaInfo ?? I know I can get the metadata for individual tracks using MediaInfo, but I would want to automate it ; as in whenever a new media file is found, read its metadata and then store it in a txt/xml file.

    Or, is there any other tool/utility/API that I can use for this ?
