how to use guardianproject's android ffmpeg library ?
21 octobre 2013, par Blaze TamaFirst, this is my first time "playing" with ffmpeg, so please bear with me.
Generally, i dont understand ffmpeg even a little bit. So i did lot, lot of researches (and also trial & error) and i finally found this project and its library
So i was successfully created the ffmpeg and sox binary file, and i put it in the raw folder at the library project (from the link i shared).
Now, i want to use the library for my project, but i still cant do it. I tried to use some methods in the
FfmpegController
likecombineAudioAndVideo
and more but its not working (yet).I dont post the error here since i still do my trial&errors (and the error change regularly) but im getting tired now.
EDIT
This is what i did :
private FfmpegController ffController;
@Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
File file = new File(Uri.parse("android.resource://com.my.package/" + R.raw.test).getPath());
try {
ffController = new FfmpegController(this, file);
} catch (FileNotFoundException e) {
// TODO Auto-generated catch block
e.printStackTrace();
} catch (IOException e) {
// TODO Auto-generated catch block
e.printStackTrace();
}
MediaDesc desc = ffController.combineAudioAndVideo(R.raw.test, R.raw.musictest, "test.mp4", null);
}The
combineAudioAndVideo
always error because wrong parameters. It needsMediaDesc
but i dont know how to do it.I will be very happy if you can share your working code if you have done the ffmpeg processing with this library.

FFmpeg Statistical CallBack Swift
21 juillet 2023, par Br.GHI have added FFmpeg with pods and it loads fine. The execution of command done succuefully and the video output is created. The only problem is am not getting call back updates from ffmpeg even tho I have enabled MobileFFmpegConfig.setStatisticsDelegate(self).

class FFmpegStatisticsHandler: NSObject, StatisticsDelegate {
 func statisticsCallback(_ statistics: Statistics!) {
 print("statics")
 DispatchQueue.main.async {
 print("statX")
 let timeInMilliseconds = statistics.getTime()
 let progress = (Double(timeInMilliseconds) / self.totalDuration) * 100

 // use the plugin reference to send message back to JS
 let pluginResult = CDVPluginResult(
 status: CDVCommandStatus_OK,
 messageAs: "progress:\(progress)"
 )
 print("progress:\(progress)")
 pluginResult?.setKeepCallbackAs(true)
 self.plugin?.commandDelegate.send(pluginResult, callbackId: self.command?.callbackId)
 }

 }

 weak var plugin: CDVPlugin?
 var command: CDVInvokedUrlCommand?
 var totalDuration: Double = 0
 var cmd : String

 init(plugin: CDVPlugin, command: CDVInvokedUrlCommand, totalDuration: Double, cmd: String) {
 self.plugin = plugin
 self.command = command
 self.totalDuration = totalDuration
 self.cmd = cmd
 super.init()
 print("createdD")
 self.execute()
 }
 func execute(){
 MobileFFmpegConfig.resetStatistics()
 MobileFFmpegConfig.setStatisticsDelegate(self)
 let rc = MobileFFmpeg.execute(cmd)
 if (rc == RETURN_CODE_SUCCESS) {
 print("Command execution completed successfully.\n")
 } else if (rc == RETURN_CODE_CANCEL) {
 print("Command execution cancelled by user.\n")
 } else {
 print("Command execution failed with rc=\(rc).\n")
 }

 }
}

Recording video on Android using JavaCV (Updated)
12 février 2014, par Fabio BergmannI'm trying to record a video in Android using the JavaCV lib.
I need to record the video in 640x360.I have installed everything as described in README.txt file and I followed the example as below :
https://code.google.com/p/javacv/source/browse/samples/RecordActivity.java
In this example, the video size is this :
private int imageWidth = 320 ;
private int imageHeight = 240 ;In my case, I need to record a video in 640x360 H.264.
(UPDATE) I have reverted my code and kept exactly like in the example, just changing imageWidth and imageHeight to 640x360.
Now I'm getting the video like this image :
