    PHP et safe_mode activé
    Une des principales sources de problèmes relève de la configuration de PHP et notamment de l’activation du safe_mode
    La solution consiterait à soit désactiver le safe_mode soit placer le script dans un répertoire accessible par apache pour le site

  • Script d’installation automatique de MediaSPIP

    Afin de palier aux difficultés d’installation dues principalement aux dépendances logicielles coté serveur, un script d’installation "tout en un" en bash a été créé afin de faciliter cette étape sur un serveur doté d’une distribution Linux compatible.
    Vous devez bénéficier d’un accès SSH à votre serveur et d’un compte "root" afin de l’utiliser, ce qui permettra d’installer les dépendances. Contactez votre hébergeur si vous ne disposez pas de cela.

  • Concat creates a still image before the video

    I am creating a cutlist like this

    file 't1.MP4'
    
inpoint 1.45067
    
outpoint 3.18133
    
file 't2.MP4'

...

    and I use it like this

    ffmpeg -y -f concat -safe 0 -i list.txt -c:v libx264 -c:a aac -af aresample=async=1 -pix_fmt yuv420p output.mp4

    The output almost always contains a still image at the start, sometimes half the video time, sometimes less, showing the first frame then the final video starts. I noticed, the less inpoint and outpoint are apart, the longer the still image at the start. Maybe its also connected to the amount of inpoint and outpoint.

    How do I solve this ?

    Limit arf interval for low fpf clips.

    This patch limits the maximum arf interval length to
    approximately half a second. In some low fps animations in
    particular the existing code was selecting an overly long interval
    which was hurting visual quality. For a sample problem test clip
    (360P animation , 15fps, 200Kbit/s) this change also improved
    metrics by >0.5 db.

    There may be some clips where this hurts metrics a little, but the
    worst case impact visually is likely to be less than having an
    interval that is much too long. On more normal material at 24
    fps or higher, the impact is likely to be nil/minimal.
