Android FFmpeg reports "file protocol not found"
27 avril 2017, par Abdul MateenI am trying to convert sequence images to video using ffmpeg command in android.
I have build ffmpeg for android and put ffmpeg binary file in /data/local folder.
I am running ffmpeg command usingRuntime.getruntime.execute("mycommand")
in Android.Stucture of mycommand is like this
"/data/local/ffmpeg -r 40 qscale 2 -i /mnt/sdcard/images/img%d.jpg /mnt/sdcard/images/finalvideo.mp4"
mycommand
contains the path of a folder where I placed all my sequence images. Running this command gives me error "protocol not found".Also I read that file protocol is default in ffmpeg documentation.
How can I run such commands ?
The Error I am getting after running simple command like ffmpeg -i /mnt/sdcard/vid.mp4

How many "Ruby on Rails" sites can be hosted using sub url in apache configuration file on apache4 with passenger4 on Ubuntu server ?
17 octobre 2013, par user1731249Server's Hardware config :
Ubuntu server 12.04, CPU : dual code (64-bit), RAM : 8GB, Disk : 200GB.Server's Software config :
Apache2, Passenger4, Rails4, ruby2, MySQL.I'm developing a Ruby on Rails website which performs following tasks.
- Upload a series of images as zip.
- Extract zip images to temp directory.
- Convert series of images to video using FFMPEG.
- updating video info in MySQL db
- Viewing the video in HTML5 video tag.
Maximum length of single video being 1min and on an average there may be 50 videos to be converted per day. I created three copies (Don't ask me why !) of same website and hosting three sites as sub-URLs like "example.com" being the domain and example.com/site1, example.com/site2, example.com/site3. Below is the Apache configuration :
RailsAutoDetect offServerName 127.0.0.1
DocumentRoot /home/ubuntuuser/work/public
ErrorDocument 404 /404.html
RailsBaseURI /site1
<directory></directory>home/ubuntuuser/work/site1/advisor/public>
Allow from all
Options -MultiViews
RailsEnv production
RailsBaseURI /site2
<directory></directory>home/ubuntuuser/work/site2/advisor/public>
Allow from all
Options -MultiViews
RailsEnv production
RailsBaseURI /site3
<directory></directory>home/ubuntuuser/work/site3/advisor/public>
Allow from all
Options -MultiViews
RailsEnv production
How many such sites can I host with sub-URLs without big performance drag ?
Also please help to do a performance test for all the sub-URLs. -
"Undefined Reference" when compiling FFMPEG with librtmp on Android
4 février 2014, par elBradfordI have searched, and while Building FFMPEG with librtmp for android answered part of my question, I ran into other issues further along in the compilation process.
First, I am trying to use the script in this github repo, changing the flags to include
--enable-librtmp \
--extra-cflags=-I/home/bradford/Development/FFMPEG/rtmp/rtmpdump/librtmp/ \
--extra-ldflags=-L/home/bradford/Development/FFMPEG/rtmp/rtmpdump/librtmp"I build librtmp with polarSSL following S74ck3r's instructions on his github repo and stream-recorder thread. That appears to work correctly, and I have a librtmp.so, librtmp.a and rtmp.h
When I try to compile ffmpeg with librtmp, I get the error
ERROR: librtmp not found
This SO question helped, and I modified ffmpeg's config file so that it wouldn't look at pkg-config for librtmp (even though pkg-config was aware of librtmp...) :
#enabled librtmp && require_pkg_config librtmp librtmp/rtmp.h RTMP_Socket
When I build now, it starts successfully, and I get the hopeful line :
librtmp enabled yes
And later on I see more good news :
...
Enabled protocols:
applehttp http mmsh
cache httpproxy mmst
concat librtmp mmsu
crypto librtmpe pipe
fd librtmps rtp
file librtmpt tcp
gopher librtmpte udp
hls md5
...but finally, after compiling everything and during the installation phase, I get these types of errors :

collect2: ld returned 1 exit statusAnd I can't get past them. It sounds like it can't find rtmp.h, which includes references to those functions, but that is present where it should be (afaik).
Also, my project requires librtmp - the built-in rtmp features of ffmpeg are not sufficient because I require the authentication features of librtmp.
