    Les logiciels et librairies suivantes sont utilisées par SPIPmotion d’une manière ou d’une autre.
    Binaires obligatoires FFMpeg : encodeur principal, permet de transcoder presque tous les types de fichiers vidéo et sonores dans les formats lisibles sur Internet. CF ce tutoriel pour son installation ; Oggz-tools : outils d’inspection de fichiers ogg ; Mediainfo : récupération d’informations depuis la plupart des formats vidéos et sonores ;

  • FFmpeg mp4 videos load very slow outside of network

    I used ffmpeg to convert my videos to mp4 using libx264 and qt fast start. Im playing my videos through the HTML tag, and when im inside my network where my website is, everything plays fast. But when i try to play the video from an outside network, I have to wait about 10 seconds before a 5 second video is played. And even when its playing, its super choppy. Any reason on why this is ? I am playing the videos in Safari on my iPhone.

    Here is how im encoding my videos :

    ffmpeg -i video.ts -i css/watermark.png -filter_complex overlay=10:main_h-overlay_h-10 -shortest -b:v 800k -vcodec libx264 -acodec libfaac -ar 44100 -ac 2 -b:a 128k -movflags faststart -map_metadata -1 video.mp4

  • ffmpeg m4v convert to mp4 missing sound [closed]

    I am using the following

     ffmpeg -i Bars.m4v -ar 44100 -b 300k -s 640x426 -vcodec mpeg4 -acodec libfaac bars.mp4

    but it is not encoding the sound only the video.

    I am wondering what do I need to do to get the sound also from the video

    it works fine in safari but not chrome and plays fine in quicktime and VLC

  • Color Correcting MP4/Webm videos

    I have a large video that features some animations too complex/long for other methods of embedding (gif, png sequence, etc.) and we are running into an issue with the colors in the video. Essentially we are including the background of the web page as part of the video in order to prevent the appearance of any edges on the video when it plays. We are trying to get the gradient background on the video to match that on the webpage, but the colors are WAY off.

    Are there any recommendations on how to color correct an MP4 video ? Or any html5-safe ways to do video with an alpha channel ?
