• Can ffmpeg write metadata encoder when transcoding alac/flac to aac audio file ?

  I have a collection of alac and flac files from Bandcamp and an ffmpeg instance compiled with libfdk_aac https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/CompilationGuide/Centos#libfdk_aac and am trying to convert these to lossy audio aac files for non-critical listening.

  


  With ffmpeg -i Liholesie\ -\ Shamanic\ Twilight\ -\ 09\ Gray\ Wings.m4a -c:a libfdk_aac -vbr 4 -c:v copy 09_Gray_wings_vbr4.m4a an expected aac .m4a audio file is produced, album art included, works well. There's one slight detail missing :

  Is there a way to write the encoder field in the Metadata section when transcoding (or is "encoder" not supported for aac m4a ? That would be weird since ffmpeg says what it says when specifying output during transcoding) .

  


  Any hints on how to write a self-defined text to said tag during transcoding are also welcome.

  I am using ffmpeg libararies to create an AVI file as mentioned in the post (Make AVI file from H264 compressed data), this guy had the same problem as i currently have (i-e getting error value -22.

  Please anyone can explain me what’s the meaning of this error code "-22" that i get from "av_interleaved_write_frame" ?

  he suggested that "By setting pts and dts with AV_NOPTS_VALUE I’ve solved the problem." please share any example how to set pts value with AV_NOPTS_VALUE ? and what should be the value of pts any rought estimate ?

• Create "LiveStream" directly from server side to client side [closed]

  I want to create a "demo" livestream, the concept is simple, every second I'm getting 12 random images and convert them into a video using stream-ffmpeg, i want to send this video to the client as an ongoing livestream, meaning every second I'm creating a new video on the server and want to send it to the client directly. how can I achieve something like this ?
