• CBR libx265, constant bitrate with HEVC

  I was trying to use FFmpeg and libx265, but actually, I can't find any working solution for HEVC and Constant bitrate

  



  *ffmpeg -i "D:\video\Mixer test.mp4" -c:v libx265 -x264-params "nal-hrd=cbr:force-cfr=1" -b:v 1M -minrate 1M -maxrate 1M -bufsize 2M output.ts*


  



  or

  



  ffmpeg -i "D:\video\Mixer test.mp4" -c:v libx265 -preset medium  -pass 1 -b:v 5000k -preset 5 -x265-params -strict-cbr -crf 28 -c:a aac -b:a 128k output.mp4


  



  Is it possible to get CBR with h265 ?

  



  If it isn't possible can you share some official information about it

• ffmpeg 'No Such file or directory' bash

  Hello I am trying to run this command :

  ffmpeg -loop 1 -framerate 2 -i "folder/big.jpeg" -i "folder/4. Babsy Mlangeni.flac" -vf "scale=2*trunc(iw/2):2*trunc(ih/2),setsar=1" -c:v libx264 -preset medium -tune stillimage -crf 18 -c:a copy -shortest -pix_fmt yuv420p -strict -2 "folder/Babsy Mlangeni.mp4"

  but I get an error saying "folder/big.jpeg : No such file or directory"

  I am pretty confident the files are there, when I run the command

  bash folder/big.jpg

  I get the output

  folder/big.jpg: folder/big.jpg: cannot execute binary file

  Showing the file is there, why wont the command pick up the file ?

• Convert wav to mp3 using Meteor FS Collections on Startup

  I’m trying to transcode all wav files into a mp3 using Meteor and Meteor FS Collections. My code works when I upload a wav file to the uploader — That is it will convert the wav to a mp3 and allow me to play the file. But, I’m looking for a Meteor Solution that will transcode and add the file to the DB if the file is a wav and exist in a certain directory. According to the Meteor FSCollection it should be possible if the files have already been stored. Here is their example code : *GM is for ImageMagik, I’ve replaced gm with ffmpeg and installed ffmpeg from atmosphereJS.

  When I try and insert the file into the db on the server side I get this error : MongoError : E11000 duplicate key error index :

  Otherwise, If I drop a wav file into the directory and restart the server, nothing happens. I’m new to meteor, please help. Thank you.
