    Le mode ferme permet d’héberger plusieurs sites de type MediaSPIP en n’installant qu’une seule fois son noyau fonctionnel.
    C’est la méthode que nous utilisons sur cette même plateforme.
    L’utilisation en mode ferme nécessite de connaïtre un peu le mécanisme de SPIP contrairement à la version standalone qui ne nécessite pas réellement de connaissances spécifique puisque l’espace privé habituel de SPIP n’est plus utilisé.

    On ne revendique pas d’être les seuls à faire ce que l’on fait ... et on ne revendique surtout pas d’être les meilleurs non plus ... Ce que l’on fait, on essaie juste de le faire bien, et de mieux en mieux...
    La liste suivante correspond à des logiciels qui tendent peu ou prou à faire comme MediaSPIP ou que MediaSPIP tente peu ou prou à faire pareil, peu importe ...
    On ne les connais pas, on ne les a pas essayé, mais vous pouvez peut être y jeter un coup d’oeil.

    Ce plugin vise à gérer des sites de mise en ligne de documents de tous types.
    Il crée des "médias", à savoir : un "média" est un article au sens SPIP créé automatiquement lors du téléversement d’un document qu’il soit audio, vidéo, image ou textuel ; un seul document ne peut être lié à un article dit "média" ;

  • Calculate edits in QuickTime Movie File with Edit List Atom

    In a Linux environment, is there a way to calculate any edits in a QuickTime Movie File track ? Specifically, I need duration and start time of edits in relation to the movie.

    I have been parsing the raw mov file to look at the Edit List Atom ( i.e. ’elst’ ) to get the track duration and media time but, even after the adjustments for time scale units the start time always seems off.

    For example, I have a single track video which has been edited to have first and last 6 seconds of the video removed. However, when I look at the ’elst’ atom of that file the track duration is the length of the new file but, the media time does not match what I would have expected (i.e. something equivalent to 6 seconds).

    I have tried looking into tools like FFmpeg but have had little success.

    I wish to make a Learning Management System using PHP-MySQL and wish to put videos from my computer or embed YouTube videos on it.

    



    Videos will be displayed to only those students who have paid for the course.

    



    I want to show their name and phone number (which they'll be giving during Sign Up) as a dynamic watermark floating randomly on all the videos of that course to prevent screen capturing of the video.

    



    How to do it and how to call those Name and Phone Number values from the MySQL database ?

    


  • Rotate video adding black bars with ffmpeg

    I have a lot of mp4 full hd videos made with a smartphone that looks rotated 90°.

    These files have proper rotation metadata and they plays correctly on VLC or other desktop mediaplayers, but I want to display them on my dvd player that does not handles mp4 metadata.

    So I tried to transpose with ffmpeg but I obtain 1080x1920 files, resolution obviously not recognized by tv/dvd-player.

    How can I transpose, resize and add black side (left/right) bars of the correct dimensions to get "correct" 1920x1080 videos ?
