  • Encoding and processing into web-friendly formats

    MediaSPIP automatically converts uploaded files to internet-compatible formats.
    Video files are encoded in MP4, Ogv and WebM (supported by HTML5) and MP4 (supported by Flash).
    Audio files are encoded in MP3 and Ogg (supported by HTML5) and MP3 (supported by Flash).
    Where possible, text is analyzed in order to retrieve the data needed for search engine detection, and then exported as a series of image files.

  • ffmpeg - where to save the video I plan to cut to frames

    I have ffmpeg up and running on my computer.

    Now I am trying to cut a video into individual frames. The video is titled IMG_2299.MOV.

    I am using the following command :

    ffmpeg -i img_2299.mov $filename%12d.jpeg

    Two questions :
    1) where do I need the actual video saved for this to work ? In the same folder as the ff* executable files (/usr/loca/bin) ?
    2) And where will the images created be saved ?

    I can run the command above — but I don’t see any results.

    Thank you for any help you can offer.

  • Evolution #4828 (Nouveau) : Intégrer tous les objets au plan du site

    Une petite évolution potentiellement sympa, ça serait d’intégrer tous les objets au plan complet du site, maintenant qu’il y a l’API de parenté (sur ?exec=plan).
    En gardant les rubriques comme objet racine de base je suppose, et peut-être des filtres supplémentaires pour les types d’objets.
    Je n’ai pas encore regardé comment ça se passait pour le déplacement par glisser-déposer et si ça peut être fait de façon générique pour tout type d’objet.
    On verra bien.
