• Big problems while compiling FFMPEG for iOS5

  I'm trying to compile the ffmpeg library for iOS5. I tried different options but none works.

  



  I downloaded this : https://github.com/ciphor/ffmpeg4ios .

  



  I tried the original build_armv7 but it didn't work. I edited the build_arm7 file and now it looks like this :

  But i get this error :

  



  


  /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/bin/arm-apple-darwin10-llvm-gcc-4.2 is unable to create an executable file.
 C compiler test failed.

  


  



  I looked all over the Internet. I have read all the posts on stackoverflow about this but none helped me. Please tell me what i'm doing wrong and please don't post me links : trust me, i saw them all !

  avutil/opt : Print out numeric values of option constants
  It's often not obvious how option constants relate to numerical values.
  
  Defaults are sometimes printed as numbers and from/to are always printed as numbers.
  
  Printing the numeric values of options constants avoids this confusion.
  
  It also allows to see which constants are equivalent.
  Before this patch :
    -segment_list_type <int>        E........ set the segment list type (from -1 to 4) (default -1)
  
       flat                         E........ flat format
  
       csv                          E........ csv format
  
       ext                          E........ extended format
  
       ffconcat                     E........ ffconcat format
  
       m3u8                         E........ M3U8 format
  
       hls                          E........ Apple HTTP Live Streaming compatible
  Afterwards :

• Nomenclature #3934 : ’recalcul’ devrait s’appeler ’recompile’

  Ya des gens qui comprennent rien et d’autres qui comprennent un peu et d’autres qui comprennent bien et font bien la différence.

  Ceux qui comprennent bien font avec l’UI comme elle est car ils ont l’habitude. Ce serait "Caramouille" et "Bratacouine" à la place de "Calcul" et "Recalcul" qu’ils s’y habitueraient vite, car ils savent ce qu’il y a derrière et ne seraient pas plus gêné qu’avec "Calcul" et "Recalcul" qui ne décrivent qu’assez mal ce qu’ils font.

  Et pour ceux qui n’y comprennent rien du tout, c’est un peu pareil, car ils ne font pas la différence et c’est pareillement "magique" pour eux.

  C’est pour ceux qui sont sur le point de comprendre, ou qui comprennent un peu mais pas totalement que ce serait le plus intéressant d’avoir des termes qui reflètent bien ce que ça fait derrière, car ça orienterait bien leur compréhension dans la bonne direction.

  Et "Recompile" est un bon candidat car même si quelqu’un ne comprend pas exactement ce que c’est que "recompile", il voit au moins que c’est d’une nature différente que le "calcul", et rien que cela, c’est un élément de meilleure compréhension.

  Sinon, mettre un hint (title) plus détaillés quand c’est possible sur les boutons d’admin qui proposent de calculer ou recalculer. Ça éduquerait les curieux. Actuellement j’ai l’impression qu’il n’y a aucun hint.
