    Multilang est un plugin supplémentaire qui n’est pas activé par défaut lors de l’initialisation de MediaSPIP.
    Après son activation, une préconfiguration est mise en place automatiquement par MediaSPIP init permettant à la nouvelle fonctionnalité d’être automatiquement opérationnelle. Il n’est donc pas obligatoire de passer par une étape de configuration pour cela.

  • Adding splash screen using FFMPEG

    everyone !

    I’m trying to add a splash screen to fade out after 2 seconds into a video using FFMPEG.

    I’m using the following command :

    ffmpeg -loop 1 -framerate 2 -t 2 -i image.png \
    
   -i video.mp4 \
    
   -filter_complex "[0:v]fade=t=in:st=0:d=0.500000,fade=t=out:st=4.500000:d=0.500000,setsar=1; \
    
   [0:0] [1:0] concat=n=2:v=1:a=0" \
    
   -c:v libx264 -crf 23 output.mp4

    but it is generating a video whose duration is correct, but plays for just 2 seconds, exactly the splash screen duration.

    Since I don’t have very experience on FFMPEG and got this code from the internet I don’t know where the problem is...

  • FFmpeg Concatenate multiple videos with crossfade

    I’m very new to FFmpeg, so any help is much appreciated.

    I’m trying to create a batch file that can take all the videos in a folder and concatenate them with 1 sec crossfade between each video. The amount of videos in the folder isn’t set, nor is the length of these videos, which is where my issue is.

    I have gotten as far as importing the videos using dir /b *.mp4 > list.txt so that i don’t have to import each file individually.

    One idea I had was to find a pattern in crossfading videos with ffmpeg, then using python to edit a secondary batch file to fit the amount of videos. However, I haven’t been able to determine any pattern with my lack of ffmpeg experience.

    Okay, I have this script which does batch encoding in ffmpeg. It basically calls upon ffmpeg for every file. What I want to do is to make the script ask for input and output locations before it starts executing.

    Here is the original script :

    for %%a in ("*.mp4") do "G:\ffmpeg\bin\ffmpeg" -i "%%a" -c:v libx264 -preset slow -crf 20 -maxrate 15000k -bufsize 2000k -acodec copy "newfiles\%%~na.mp4"

    Now I’d like to be able to input a string with a location for the files in he first brackets ("*.mp4") and at the end for "newfiles\%% na.mp4".

    I would presume that %% na is used to generate number orders or something but I’m not completely sure.

    I would presume that two variables/strings need to be created and then utilized by reading from keyboard. Sadly I have absolutely no experience with this. Did some c++ in school but that was that.
