How to do multiple input with streamio-ffmpeg ?
12 août 2020, par YozuuI would like to recreate this ffmpeg line (which works well) in my rails app :

ffmpeg -i 1.mp4 -i 2.mp4 -filter_complex '[0] [1] afir=dry=10:wet=10' output.wav

So here is my config :

module EncodingConstants
 PROCESSED_DEFAULTS = {
 resolution: '500x400',
 video_codec: 'libx264',
 constant_rate_factor: '30',
 frame_rate: '25',
 audio_codec: 'aac',
 audio_bitrate: '128k',
 audio_sample_rate: '48000',
 progress: :processing_progress
 }.freeze

 AUDIO_EFFECTS = {
 multi_effect: %w[-i /home/yozuu/2.mp4 -filter_complex [0] [1] afir=dry=10:wet=10]
 }.freeze

So Sidekiq send this back to me :

I don't understand why because for me the command line ffmpeg seems correct.
Anyone have a idea ?
Thank you.

ffmpeg change timecode metadata inside video file
23 février 2024, par virtualsetsI have problems to change timecode inside metadata of a video file "mov"

ffmpeg -i input.mov -ss 0 -map 0 -acodec copy -vcodec copy -timecode 01:20:10:00 -metadata:s:2:0 timecode=01:20:10:00 -metadata:s:1:0 timecode=01:20:10:00 -metadata:s:0:2 -metadata:s:0:2 timecode=01:10:10:00 output.mov

I need to put my own timecode to the file but this command not works.

The console give me :

I don't understand why it does not modify the timecode in the mov file. The old timecode remains.

FFMPEG fails while processing MOV files
29 septembre 2020, par TomI'm trying to convert video files to DASH format. All videos work great except MOV videos.

I'm using the following command :

/usr/local/bin/ffmpeg -y -i /path/to/mov/video.mov -c:v libx264 -c:a aac -bf 1 -keyint_min 25 -g 250 -sc_threshold 40 -use_timeline 1 -use_template 1 -init_seg_name 'video_init_$RepresentationID$.$ext$' -media_seg_name 'video_chunk_$RepresentationID$_$Number%05d$.$ext$' -seg_duration 10 -hls_playlist 0 -f dash -adaptation_sets -0:s -map 0 -s:v:0 854x480 -b:v:0 750k -strict -2 -threads 12 /output/path/video.mpd

I get the error :

I guess the problem is that the file contains two not audio/video streams :
I can not find a way to exclude or ignore or copy without processing those last two streams (#2 and #3).
