Configuration spécifique d’Apache
4 février 2011, parModules spécifiques
Pour la configuration d’Apache, il est conseillé d’activer certains modules non spécifiques à MediaSPIP, mais permettant d’améliorer les performances : mod_deflate et mod_headers pour compresser automatiquement via Apache les pages. Cf ce tutoriel ; mode_expires pour gérer correctement l’expiration des hits. Cf ce tutoriel ;
Il est également conseillé d’ajouter la prise en charge par apache du mime-type pour les fichiers WebM comme indiqué dans ce tutoriel.

Move all files from a folder EXCEPT those still in use (by other processes like ffmpeg)
9 janvier 2019, par juzzleI am cleaning up a series of MP4 files using FFMPEG. I want to create a simple bat file script which moves the completed files (which are those which have a duration value), not the stubs of files in progress. This is the basic structure :
set SourcePath=C:\Source Folder
pushd %SourcePath%
move *.MP4 C:\Finished FolderWhat options are available to use in the MOVE command to supress the moving of those files still in use by FFMPEG ?
I did consider Robocopy’s /minage or /minlad option for this, but the minimimum incremenent is DAYS, not seconds.

Why do I get different codecs on Windows and Linux with same code ?
27 janvier 2016, par user3277340I am using the API version of FFMPEG to generate a MP4 file from a series of images. I specify the output by calling
AVFormatContext *oc = NULL ;
avformat_alloc_output_context2 (&oc,NULL,"mp4",NULL) ;Running the exact same code on Windows and Linux I get different codecs assigned. On Windows, the value of oc->oformat->video_code is AV_CODEC_ID_H264 (28), but on Linux I get AV_CODEC_ID_MPEG4.
I tracked this down because on Windows my calls to avcodec_encode_video2(.,.,.,&got_packet) were always returning got_packet=0 so I never called av_interleaved_write_frame. I added a NULL AVFrame at the end to flush the video. But it was very small and did not contain the images I expected to see there.
But on Linux everything worked just fine. So I went ahead and manually changed the value of oc->oformat->video_code and I got the expected results.
My questions :
1) Why do I get different codec types on different platforms with the same code ? Is there a parameter I need to set to force MPEG4 ?
2) Is it "legal" to change this parameter after the call to avformat_alloc_output_context2 ? My concern is that "oc" has been properly initialized and, with the change, something may be inconsistent.
3) Is there a way to force the MPEG4 codec on any machine ?
Thanks.

FFMPEG - Scrambled Output converting from VOB with ffmpeg
24 décembre 2013, par MattDI've concatenated a series of VOB files from a DVD into a single VOB file and I am trying to convert it to MP4 or other similar format. I see a lot of errors when converting and the output appears scrambled.

[...]I'm guessing this is CSS scrambling and I need to do some sort of DeCSS. Does FFMpeg have an option for this ? Cringe if you'd like, but is there C# source to achieve this ?
My end goal is really just to get some DVDs that I own onto my media server. I've tried a few demo-ware products with limited success including Acala DVD Ripper, Click to Disk, AVIDemux to name a few. I even paid for a couple of them to get the full version, but Acala only works for about half of my DVDs and Click to Disk can decode the VOB, but I need to use FFMpeg to convert. I'd like to have it all in one app that works and I am willing to write some code for it.
