Record rtsp stream to a file to be played later
16 avril 2021, par Саня Рыбалкоeveryone.

I have a UWP app, which can stream rtsp streams from online ip cameras by means of FFmpegInterop NuGet package. This is how I use the FFmpegInteropMSS object to set mediaElement's source to the rtsp stream :

FFmpegInteropMSS ffmpeg = await FFmpegInterop.FFmpegInteropMSS.CreateFromUriAsync("rtsp://88.84.52.66/axis-media/media.amp");
 MediaStreamSource streamSource = ffmpeg.GetMediaStreamSource();
 mediaElement.SetMediaStreamSource(streamSource);
 mediaElement.Play();

But I have run into a problem - I need to make it possible to record the stream in a local file to be played later. I have found out this is possible while using ffmpeg console, but I would prefer to use some c# tools(not only FFmpegInterop library) to do it.

Thanks for your help in advance.

FFMPEG Invalid Data
10 mai 2021, par D0nI had a python script that runs ffmpeg processes against pre recorded files. My commands worked before but now I am getting an Invalid data error.

Here is my command.

ffmpeg -i black_video.mpeg -vf "blackdetect=d=2:pix_th=0.00" -an -f null -

Here is my Error.

black_video.mpeg: Invalid data found when processing input

I am also running this convert command to the video files.

convert black_video.mpeg -colorspace HSL -channel S -separate -format '%M avg sat=%[fx:int(mean*100)]\n' info:

Nothing I found online was relevant to my issue. The commands were working before but now they aren't which is really odd to me.

Cross-compile ffmpeg for arm64 on x64 host machine (macOS) ?
13 juin 2021, par waldenCalmsI need to cross-compile ffmpeg for arm64 (M1 Macs, to be specific) from my x64 host Mac. I am able to build ffmpeg for my host architecture without issues (i.e. I have a working x64 build script and all the pre-requisites installed), but now need to modify my script to build for arm64.

First of all, is this even possible / supported ? If so, how ?

The official ffmpeg compilation guide doesn't mention anything helpful. I have looked at several code snippets online and tried using the following configure arguments, with no luck :

--enable-cross-compile \
--arch=arm64 \

I get the following error :

libavutil/aarch64/bswap.h:38:13: error: invalid instruction mnemonic 'rev'
