Convert AVStream PTS value to real time in seconds
15 janvier 2015, par KamleshThe below code snippet gets the PTS value of different frames from a video file
AVStream *stream = avctx->streams[avpkt.stream_index];
if ( 0 > ( err = avcodec_decode_video2 ( stream->codec, frame, &got_frame, &avpkt ) && got_frame ) )
{
int64_t pts = av_frame_get_best_effort_timestamp ( frame );
pts = av_rescale_q ( pts, stream->time_base, AV_TIME_BASE_Q );
}The PTS value that it returns are given below.
- 66733
- 100100
- 133467
Confusion is on the time format of the above values, whether they are in milliseconds or microseconds.
Is there any other way to get a real time PTS values of the frames, as these will be required for subtitle rendering -
The appearance of silence time at the end when the -r is too small
14 juin 2023, par KazbekuriI have one mp3 and one picture I want to make mp4 and put this picture in the background, so that the rendering is very fast, because it is just a picture and do not want to put a lot of fps (weak pc), but there is a problem which is the appearance of silence time after the audio information. If I put more -r then everything is solved, but I need an alternative way to make it work fast and without typing different parameters like -t.

My command :
ffmpeg -loop 1 -r 1 -i peg.jpeg -i ex.mp3 -c:a aac -b:a 320K -strict -2 -shortest -fflags +shortest -max_interleave_delta 100M video.mp4

I tried "-max_muxing_queue_size 9999" but that didn't work for me. I also tried -fflags+shortest -max_interleave_delta 100M. This helped me a little, but not enough.
