Automated installation script of MediaSPIP
25 avril 2011, parTo overcome the difficulties mainly due to the installation of server side software dependencies, an "all-in-one" installation script written in bash was created to facilitate this step on a server with a compatible Linux distribution.
You must have access to your server via SSH and a root account to use it, which will install the dependencies. Contact your provider if you do not have that.
The documentation of the use of this installation script is available here.

How to access YUV planes from ratecontrol in x264 encoder
31 décembre 2018, par shuchI need to get access to the YUV planes in x264 encoder on the encoding stage. I understand how to do it on the input stage (in raw.c), but I don’t succeed to do it in encoder.c or ratecontrol.c.

Revision 29071a418e : Fix invalid memory access on 2x downscale. The issue was discovered on bitstrea
9 septembre 2014, par Alexander VoronovChanged Paths :
Modify /vp9/common/vp9_reconinter.c
Fix invalid memory access on 2x downscale.The issue was discovered on bitstream with 2x vertical downscale. For
zero MVs, y_pad is set to 1 only when vertical convolution is
required. The original code assumes that for y_step_q4 == 32 we don’t
perform vertical convolution. But vp9_setup_scale_factors_for_frame()
sets convolve functions so that when x_step and y_step are both not
equal to 16, convolve in both directions is performed. And convolve()
unconditionally subtracts one stride from source pointer when calls
convolve_horiz(). This leads to invalid memory access.Change-Id : I882dfa6081a58e172b5ffa55842bfcd6727f10bf

H.264 - Identify Access Units of an image
7 décembre 2017, par ivan_filhoI need to parse a H.264 stream to collect only NAL’s needed to form a complete image, of only one frame. I’m reading the H.264 standard, but it’s confuse and hard to read. I made some experiments but, did not worked. For example, i extracted an access unit with primary_pic_type == 0 containing only slice_type == 7 (I-Slice), it should give me a frame, but i tried to extract from ffmpeg, it did not work. But, when i append the next access_unit, containing only slice_type == 5 (P-Slice) it worked. Maybe i need to extract POC information, but i think not, because i only need extract one frame, but i’m not sure. Someone have some tip of how get only NAL’s i need to form one complete image ?
