How to resolve "runOnReady command exited with code 0" when restreaming a stream using Mediamtx ?
2 juillet 2023, par Emad HelmiI'm attempting to publish a stream to the RTMP port
1935
using affmpeg
command with Mediamtx (v0.22.2). Afterward, I want to restream the mainstream to another path using therunOnReady
command in the config file. However, I'm encountering an issue wherethe runOnReady command exits with code 0.

Steps to Replicate :

-

- Use the provided docker-compose.yml file :

version: "3.8"

name: mediamtx
services:
 mediamtx:
 image: aler9/rtsp-simple-server:v0.22.2
 container_name: media_mtx_rtsp_server
 ports:
 - "8554:8554"
 - "1935:1935"
 - "8888:8888"
 - "8889:8889"
 - "9997:9997"
 - "8000:8000"
 volumes:
 - ./configs/mediamtx/config.yml:/mediamtx.yml
 - ../volumes/hls/segments:/hls/segments

-

- Add the following path to the
config.yml
file :

paths:
 show/test:
 runOnReady: ffmpeg -i rtmp://localhost:1935/show/test -c copy -f flv "rtmp://localhost:1935/compressed/test"
 runOnReadyRestart: yes

-

- Start the server using docker-compose.
- Publish an
RTMP
stream to the server using the following command :

ffmpeg -re -stream_loop -1 -i files/sample-30s.mp4 -c copy -f flv "rtmp://localhost:1935/show/test"

-

- When I check the logs :

2023/07/01 15:16:30 INF [RTMP] [conn 172.26.0.1:51044] opened
2023/07/01 15:16:30 INF [path show/test] runOnReady command started
2023/07/01 15:16:30 INF [RTMP] [conn 172.26.0.1:51044] is publishing to path 'show/test', 2 tracks (H264, MPEG4-audio-gen)
2023/07/01 15:16:30 INF [path show/test] runOnReady command exited with code 0

So I can't watch the stream on the new path (/compressed/test)

Python yt-dlp and ffmpeg error "merging of multiple formats but ffmpeg is not installed"
27 mai, par T Tea TieI am using the latest version of
yt-dlp
with Python 3.9.

I am trying to download a youtube video in mp4 format with outputname as the
youtubeid.mp4
and with best resolution not more than 4K.

This is my Python code :

ytid = '4cDqaLxrt6Q'
url = 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v='+ytid
output_filename = ytid+".mp4"

with YoutubeDL({'format': 'bestvideo[height<=?4K]+bestaudio/best', 'output': output_filename}) as ydl:
 ydl.download(url)`#TODO debug FFmpeg and check if outputname is ok

I expected to have an
.mp4
file in my current working directory.

Then I installed the latest version of
FFmpeg
fromffmpeg-master-latest-win64-gpl.zip
and putffmpeg.exe
,ffplay.exe
andffprobe.exe
in Scripts python folder (whereyt-dlp.exe
is). I also installedffmpeg
usingpip install
.

The

FFMPEG bash > folder processing > AI upscale - script ERROR ">" [closed]
13 novembre 2022, par Jason Paul MichaelsTrying to port a single file manual command from Topaz AI so I can run it as a part of a simple script allowing me to run multiple sessions from terminal. I am running MacOS with BASH 5.2 and when I run the script I get dumped to ">" instead of command prompt and no error message is displayed.

This is my command -

for f in *.mp4; do
 /Applications/Topaz\ Video\ AI.app/Contents/MacOS/ffmpeg \
 -hide_banner \
 -nostdin \
 -y \
 -nostats \
 -i “$f” \
 -vsync 0 \
 -avoid_negative_ts 1 \
 -sws_flags spline+accurate_rnd+full_chroma_int \
 -color_trc 1 \
 -colorspace 1 \
 -color_primaries 1 \
 -filter_complex veai_up=model=prob-3:scale=0:w=1920:h=1080:preblur=0:noise=0:details=0:halo=0:blur=0:compression=0:estimate=20:device=0:vram=1:instances=1,scale=w=1920:h=1080:flags=lanczos:threads=0,scale=out_color_matrix=bt709 \
 -c:v prores_videotoolbox \
 -profile:v lt \
 -pix_fmt p210le \
 -allow_sw 1 \
 -map_metadata 0 \
 -movflags frag_keyframe+empty_moov+delay_moov+use_metadata_tags+write_colr \
 -map_metadata:s:v 0:s:v \
 -map_metadata:s:a 0:s:a \
 -c:a aac \
 "encoded/${f%.*}.mp4”;
done

I have a feeling it's something really simple I'm missing but I've gone through it a dozen times and can't seem to modify in any way to success.

Thank you !

Getting dumped back to ">" terminal prompt.
