  I want to add box behind a word using ass subtitles formatting. The box should have border radius. the ass file later will be used by ffmpeg.

  


  I have tried the BorderStyle=3 form stack ansers 1, 2 both of them do not provide a way to get rounded boxes. Also the BorderStyle=4 didn't work for me. In comments of last stack answer I found a possible reason that my libraries can be old, but anyway it doesn't seem that BorderStyle=4 will solve my problem of border radius. There is another way to achieve rounded box link to answer. I didn't figure it out how to install all the libs he explained there. Also the later answer seems to me over complicated. Is there an other way to make the borders of box rounded without suffering and pain ? I also tried drawing the box with Drawing commands like

  But it still doesn't seem to be the best way to achieve rounded borders.

  avcodec/ass,webvttdec : fix handling of backslashes
  Backslashes cannot be escaped by a backslash in any ASS renderer,
  
  but unless followed by specific characters it is just printed out.
  
  Insert a word-joiner character after a backslash to break up
  
  active sequences without changing the visual output.

• Use ffmpeg/avconv to re-stram a combined stream ?

  Having two separate stream sources (audio and video) each from an IP-camera, I would like to

  • combine them into a single stream
  • save this into a file (using segmentation)
  • re-stream (specific word unknown for me, sorry) the combined stream so that other users may access it without having to combine the streams on their own

  The first two things : I have already accomplished like that :

  ffmpeg -use_wallclock_as_timestamps 1 -f mjpeg -i 'http://camera.ip.address/videostream.cgi?user=username&pwd=password' -i 'http://camera.ip.address/videostream.asf?user=username&pwd=password' -map 0:v -map 1:a -acodec copy -vcodec copy -f segment -segment_time 3600 -reset_timestamps 1 'out%03d.mkv'

  But how to make this stream available on the LAN at the same time while being recorded and saved to HDD ?

  BTW : You might ask, why do I need this : Because many clients do not have capabilitys to combine a stream from multiple sources, so I set up a server which does this task and clients do not go directly to the audio/video source (IP-camera) but catch the newly generated stram = : the idea.
