    MediaSPIP 0.1 beta est la première version de MediaSPIP décrétée comme "utilisable".
    Le fichier zip ici présent contient uniquement les sources de MediaSPIP en version standalone.
    Pour avoir une installation fonctionnelle, il est nécessaire d’installer manuellement l’ensemble des dépendances logicielles sur le serveur.
    Si vous souhaitez utiliser cette archive pour une installation en mode ferme, il vous faudra également procéder à d’autres modifications (...)

  • Youtube DASH stream through to iOS format

    I have a stream link of a DASH codec format audio file using youtube-dl. It plays fine in the browser but on iOS the DASH codec is not supported. I am wondering how I can use ffmpeg to transcode the HTTPS stream live and then resend it out an AAC encoded m4a file or something that the iOS SDK supports through streaming - mp3 also works. I think using something such as nginx as the middleware inbetween would be a good idea. I can use python app to receive the request /videoID, it would grab the stream link and transcode it live feed it to nginx which would serve the correctly transcoded format back to the iOS app.

    Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas on how to achieve this ? I am stuck on the details on the ffmpeg bit.

    i have below questions regarding android implementation

    1. How various video codecs differ especially `which are stream based and which are frame based'

    2. Over many forums and questions everyone is talking SPS,PPS,etc., so where i can find enough details about codec(Please mention something other than RFC documents !!) to understand it and use ffmpeg relevantly ?

    3. From this Is it possible to use in-built HW Decoders od android devices ? If so, How ? Do i need to use OpenMax-IL (or AL or DL , i mean which is for what ?)

    4. Does ffmpeg supports H264 encoding of RGB (or RGBA) or RGB565(or RGB555) input data through libx264 ?

    5. If my requirement is only h264 encode & decode, can i use libx264 without ffmpeg ?If so any sample/guide ?

  • Max MP4 H264 Header Size

    I have a requirement to cut a MP4 container H264 video encoded file into header part and content part.

    Instead of dwelling into details of the header, I want to split the file with a max MP4 video header limit.

    Is there any such limit exist ? Does splitting initial 2/4 MB from the file will hold the header completely ?

    The requirement is, if the content part of the file is accessible, the video should not be recreated. Is splitting the file into header and content will help ?
