  • ffmpeg "Error reinitializing filters !" on some webm videos

9 février 2023, par The Blind Hawk

I have a dozen of webm videos I need to resize with the following :

    ffmpeg -i input.webm -vf “scale=w=360:h=270:force_original_aspect_ratio=2,fps=10,crop=360:270” output.webm

I tried the command and it worked fine for some webm videos, but most of the returned the following error :

[AVFilterGraph @ 0x7fcb3db076c0] No such filter: '“scale'
Error reinitializing filters!
Failed to inject frame into filter network: Invalid argument
Error while processing the decoded data for stream #0:0
[libopus @ 0x7fcb3c10a000] 1 frames left in the queue on closing
Conversion failed!

I checked that ffmpeg still worked fine with previously successful files.

How can I get ffmpeg to work with the remaining wemb videos ?

  • FFmpeg stdin "output file is empty, nothing was encoded"

    2 février 2023, par brock

Just trying to stdin and stdout a simple CAF to MP3 conversion. Output looks exactly the same except using stdin does not encode anything. Windows 10. I'm going bananas here. Please advise.

    Using - (stdin)...

EDIT : Command syntax is ok. Works as expected with a WAV file. I upgraded FFmpeg now I get errors using stdin. So it is the file that is to blame. However, I do find it odd that using -i is fine, but stdin is not.

  • How do I resolve ffmpeg concat command error "unknown keyword..." ?

    6 décembre 2023, par Scorb

I am trying to concatenate two video files using ffmpeg, and I am receiving an error.

To eliminate compatibility issues between the two videos, I have been concatenating the same video with itself, and the same error persists.

    ffmpeg \
  -f concat \
  -safe 0 \
  -i intro_prepped.avi intro_prepped.avi \
  -c copy \
  concat.avi

And the error output I receive is....

    [concat @ 0x220d420] Line 1 : unknown keyword 'RIFFf ?'
intro_prepped.avi : Invalid data found when processing input

I have tried various combinations of concat flags and have not been able to get it to work. Has anyone seen this error before ?
