  • ffmpeg : single input file contains multiple streams, how to save each discreetly ?

    9 octobre 2017, par pinhead

I have been given a .dvs file which was recovered from some proprietary multi-camera security surveillance system. ffprobe returned errors at first but when I switched the extension to .avc I was able to extract video metadata (output below). ffmpeg was able to read this file and export a long video file that essentially jump-cuts between the different cameras in an erratic pattern, like a crazy music video ! Is it possible to use ffmpeg to identify the different parallel video streams and output each camera source as its own file ?

    ffprobe -probesize 1000000000 output :

    8 octobre 2017, par siriele

I’ve been fighting for a number of days now trying to get FFmpeg working with combining several audio files at specific times into one file. So my idea was to generate silence up to the time i want to play a sound. Then merge the audio together with a filter. The below code works when I have five or less files, but seems to fall apart. What I’m trying

  • How can I use FFMPEG to fix a mpeg.ts file

29 septembre 2017, par Tim McClure

I have an mpegts file that has some minor quality issues. Can I use ffmpeg to create an mp4 file from it and the mp4 file plays fine - meaning the transmuxing to mp4 corrected the problem. I am trying to use ffmpeg to re-encode the mpegts file to another mpegts file and through the transmuxing have the video file fixed. The script I am using :

    ffmpeg -re -i 20170925T214300_S051-0001.ts -pix_fmt yuv420p -vcodec libx264 -r 25 -vf "scale=1024:576" -threads 0 -b:v: 2048k -bufsize 2244k -maxrate 2560k -profile:v baseline -g 50 -x264opts no-scenecut -x264opts force-cfr -an -f mpegts mcclure.ts

Is what I am trying to do possible ?
