    Dixit Wikipedia, XMP signifie :
    Extensible Metadata Platform ou XMP est un format de métadonnées basé sur XML utilisé dans les applications PDF, de photographie et de graphisme. Il a été lancé par Adobe Systems en avril 2001 en étant intégré à la version 5.0 d’Adobe Acrobat.
    Étant basé sur XML, il gère un ensemble de tags dynamiques pour l’utilisation dans le cadre du Web sémantique.

    MediaSPIP transforme et ré-encode les documents mis en ligne afin de les rendre lisibles sur Internet et automatiquement utilisables sans intervention du créateur de contenu.
    Les vidéos sont automatiquement encodées dans les formats supportés par HTML5 : MP4, Ogv et WebM. La version "MP4" est également utilisée pour le lecteur flash de secours nécessaire aux anciens navigateurs.

  • Compile OpenCV3 with Cuda7.5 ffmpeg (latest) issue OpenSUSE 13.2

    I am using an OpenSUSE 13.2-X86-64 and a Geforce 940M GPU. I want to work with it on the Qt5 IDE.
    For this purpose, i have installed my GPU Driver with the Cuda7.5 toolkit rpm from the cudazone. Everything is nearly fine.
    It detects everything I have made and executed a couple of the cuda samples.

    As next step, i have installed the current FFmpeg version with nvenc and other libraries like Xvid and many of
    the other usefull stuff which would be to much to list it here. After that i have downloaded the current
    OpenCV-3.0.0 source code and ran cmake-gui where i have added cuda, ffmpeg, Qt5 etc and maked it.

    On different points of the make session (make -j4) i get this kind of mistake from my console (The list of the Multiple definition
    error is much longer). This is the first one.

  • FFMPEG - Moving text to appear every 'X' Seconds

    This is a ffmpeg command for moving text (left to right)

    ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -vf drawtext="fontfile=/path/to/fonts/FreeSans.ttf:text='Hello World':fontcolor=white@1.0:fontsize=16:y=h-line_h-100:x=(2*n)-tw" -codec:v libx264 -codec:a copy output.mp4

    And I would like to know how to make the moving text to start after ’X’ seconds and appear every ’X’ seconds ?

  • ffmpeg : videos before and after conversion aren't the same length

    I have a set of .mov videos which require conversion to .mp4 format. I'm using ffmpeg and running this command :

    ffmpeg -i Banking.mov -vsync -async -sameq -ac 1 -ab 64k -ar 44100 Banking.mp4

    There is a slight difference between input and output video in time length (00:03:35.407 and 00:03:35.582). And here's the catch - I'm storing time cue set at precise times in a file which is used by a program to point at specific scenes. The 0.1 second difference causes it to point at wrong scenes, therefore making the cue set useless. Is there any possibility to preserve exactly the same time in different format ?
