• using ffmpeg to resize video with black bars

  i have a video with resolution 720:576 and i want it to have the ratio 16:9, e.g. 1024:576 with black bars on the sides. don’t know if it matters, but i am working with ffmpeg for windows. After research i tried the solution i found on 2 related questions :

  -i .\video.mp4 -vf scale=1024:576:force_original_aspect_ratio=decrease,pad=1024:576:(ow-iw)/2:(oh-ih)/2,setsar=1 out.mp4

  but i get an output that "ow-iw" was not recognized. Here is the complete output. unfortunatly it is in german(as am i) if u tell me how to change the output language i will provide it in english :

• ffmpeg add all audio tracks to video conversion (mkv)

  I have a script that takes in input a video file (generally avi or mp4) and converts it to a "lower quality" mkv video optimized for web streaming.

  The ffmpeg command I use is this one :

  ffmpeg -fflags +genpts -i file:"$input" -sn -codec:v:0 libx264 -force_key_frames expr:gte\(t,n_forced*5\) -vf "scale=trunc(min(max(iw\,ih*dar)\,1280)/2)*2:trunc(ow/dar/2)*2" -pix_fmt yuv420p -preset superfast -crf 23 -b:v 1680000 -maxrate 1680000 -bufsize 3360000 -vsync vfr -profile:v high -level 41 -map_metadata -1 -threads 8 -codec:a:0  libmp3lame -ac 2 -ab 320000 -af "aresample=async=1" -y "$output"

  The problem is that this command only includes the first audio track of my video. I have some dual language videos (italian and english) for which I want to include both languages.

  Is there a simple ffmpeg command option that automatically includes all audio tracks found in a video ?

  Hello,
  The following template variants do not work for me :
  I have section number 101, with articles in fa and en languages in it.
  I have also files article.html for the main site’s language which is fa, and article.en.html for the en language articles. Both work fine in general. I created two other variants to apply articles in section 101 with two separate languages. They are : article=101.fa.html and article=101.en.html .
  SPIP ignores these two variants and proceeds article.html for fa language articles, and article.en.html for en language articles in section 101, like the other sections. I added also article=101.html to see if it works, but didn’t.
  I asked this in French and English mailing lists, but couldn’t find any solution.
