    MediaSPIP platforms can be installed as a farm, with a single "core" hosted on a dedicated server and used by multiple websites.

  • Windows Batch - Change the beginning of a path but keep the rest

    21 juin 2014, par o_ren

    I’m running FFMPEG for video encoding.
    I have a batch file which will encode files you drop on it, keeping the file’s original name and copy the encoded files to a specific directory.
    I would like that script to "know" the original’s file path and copy the encoded file to a path relative to it, meaning :
    original file dropped on batch file is in C :\some\folder\show\season\episode\file.mov
    encoded file should be encoded to D :\different\directory\show\season\episode\file.mp4
    The part of the path up until \show is fixed.

    This is what I have so far :

    @echo on

    set count=0
    for %%a in (%*) do (<br />
     if exist %%a (

           md \\specific\path\"%%~na"

           %MYFILES%\ffmpeg.exe -i "%%~a" -vcodec libx264 -preset medium -vprofile baseline -level 3.0 -b 500k -vf scale=640:-1 -acodec aac -strict -2 -ac 2 -ab 64k -ar 48000 "%%~na_500.mp4"
           copy "%%~na_500.mp4" "\\specific\path\"%%~na"\%%~na_500.mp4"
           copy "%%~na_500.mp4" "\\specific\path\"%%~na"\%%~na_500.mp4"
           del "%%~na_500.mp4"

    set /a count+=1

    ) else (
    echo Skipping non-existent %% a

    Thank you,

  • Convert form 30 to 60fps by increasing speed, not duplicating frames. FFmpeg

    14 janvier 2014, par Matt Pellegrini

    I have a video that is incorrectly labelled at 30fps, it is actually 60fps and so looks like it's being played at half speed. The audio is fine, that is, the soundtrack finishes half way through the video clip. I'd like to know how, if possible to fix this, that is double the video speed, making it 60fps and meaning that the audio and video are synced.

    The file is H.264 and the audio MPEG-4 AAC

    Thanks in advance for any help,

    Matt

  • ffmpeg 'or' filter - what's the significance of red and blue ?

    9 juillet 2020, par BETLOG

    I'm tinkering with various ffmpeg filters to help me visualise the magnitude of difference certain presets use, and I notice a couple of filters display a lot of certain primary colours.&#xA;Specifically in this case : red and blue in an 'or' filter, and green in an 'and' filter.

    &#xA;

    It seems useful to be able to tell WHICH input is being indicated, or to understand how the filters act in terms of sequence, and I'm hoping these colourations will help with this.&#xA;Or at least I'd like to better understand whatever they do represent.

    &#xA;

    In the screenshot of the video segment above I see pure red and blue occasionally featuring strongly, and as the two extremes in the RgB palette it logically seems (and I'm hoping) they might indicate particular video inputs.&#xA;Similarly, the 'and' filter shows a lot of green shades, so I'm hoping someone can explain the meaning of the R,G, and B highlights in the 'or' and the 'and' filters.

    &#xA;

    The relevant input and preset info in the images below is at the extreme left and right of each drawtext line.

    'and' filter - greens
