ffmpeg - Audio Issues with TS File
5 décembre 2020, par MeaningOfLifeI am new to the world of ffmpeg, so I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question or request.

I'm in the process of trying to convert a .ts file to a h264/mp4. I was able to successfully convert the video, however whenever I go to play the output file, the audio is weird. Most of the audio is only coming through the left channel. I noticed that the audio has multiple channels - 6 to be exact. And there are two audio streams as well. I'm assuming that this has something to do with it, but I am not sure what exactly to put in the command line to fix it.

I was hoping there would be a way to copy the video stream from the mp4 I had already made with ffmpeg, and then replace the audio from that mp4 with the audio from the source ts file - preferably mixed down into regular stereo audio. It is quite a big file, so I would like to not have to convert the video stream again if I don't have to.

Here is the media information from the source video.

Multiple download trim videos ffmpeg + youtube-dl [duplicate]
4 décembre 2020, par sl4gI'm tryng to make a bash script to download and trim videos from URLs in a
.txt
file, usingffmpeg
andyoutube-dl
. From the Internet I found this https://askubuntu.com/questions/970629/how-to-download-a-portion-of-a-video-with-youtube-dl-or-something-else and this How can I batch/sequentially download m3u8 files using ffmpeg ? and based on that I made this :

#!/bin/bash

#only download the half of urls

HoldList="/home/user/desktop/dir1/code/bash/web.txt"

index=0
while read line ; do
 ffmpeg -ss 00:50:30 -to 00:51:00 -i "$(youtube-dl -f best --get-url $line)" -c:v copy -c:a copy output-${index}.mp4
 ((index=index+1))
done < "$HoldList"

This code only downloads half of the videos. Download one, ignore the next, then repeat...

How can I make not skip every other URL from the file ?

I'm a newbie in Bash script (and in this site), and English is not my first language.

youtube-dl (ffmpeg) blank error on embedding subtitles
22 mars 2021, par Human1I am new to using youtube-dl, and therefore is quite unfamiliar with how it works. I configured it to download auto subs and english subs (if there were any), and embed them in the video. It worked for me for quite a good while (1 or 2 months), and it suddenly stopped working with blank errors starting to pop up, and I have no idea why that happened. I have checked that I am using the most updated version of youtube-dl and ffmpeg. I am currently using a m1 mac , and I don't know if that caused the problem. Below is the output I got with the
-v
command, as well as some background information.
