• CVOpenGLESTextureCacheCreateTextureFromImage from uint8_t buffer

  I’m developing an video player for iPhone. I’m using ffmpeg libraries to decode frames of video and I’m using opengl 2.0 to render the frames to the screen.

  But my render method is very slowly.

  A user told me :
  iOS 5 includes a new way to do this fast. The trick is to use AVFoundation and link a Core Video pixel buffer directly to an OpenGL texture.

  My problem now is that my video player send to render method a uint8_t* type that I use then with glTexSubImage2D.

  But if I want to use CVOpenGLESTextureCacheCreateTextureFromImage I need a CVImageBufferRef with the frame.

  The question is : How I can create CVImageBufferRef from uint8_t buffer ?

• PHP - FFMPEG - Unable to apply multiple regular expressions on media output

  I am writing a php script (I have to use php) to cycle through a dir of media files and displaying media information in a chart.

  Right now, I'm trying to do it on 1 file.

  I can successfully do so. I currently can parse the output (using regular expressions) to obtain information such as file name, duration, resolution, etc

  I was told that I can combine the regular expressions to make it more efficient.

  When I do however, I am unable to parse the ffmpeg output correctly.

  Consequently, I've tried copying the output to a string and parsing that using multiple expressions and it works just fine.

  Any help is appreciated.

• ffmpeg permission Denied [on hold]

  ffmpeg is giving me permission Denied from my asp.net app when told to grab a video from "\"C :\Users\Aleksandur Murfitt\Documents\My Web Sites\Photo Gallery5\Images\userpics\""
  even though Everyone has been given full rights for My Web Sites and userpics, why ?
