  • FFmpeg/X264 : Split video mid-GOP without reencoding entire stream

    I've got an H264 video (Stored in an MP4 file). Each GOP is approx 10s long. I want to trim the first couple of seconds off the video, which means I need to split the first GOP. Is there a way to do this without re-encoding the entire video ?

    I've got FFmpeg and x264 available. I'm happy to use either the FFmpeg command line, or my own program linked against ffmpeg of x264 libraries.

  • How to scale watermark with FFMPEG ?

    I am using ffmpeg to change the resolution and type(mp4) of my videos but I also want to add a watermark on them, but the problem is that the size of the watermark is different in every video I upload (on some videos the watermark becomes small and on other videos become bigger).

    


    Is there a way to add a watermark with a proportional scale to the videos so I don't have different sizes of the watermark ?

    


    Here's my code :

    


    ffmpeg -i input_video.avi -i watermark.png -s 1280x720 -filter_complex overlay=x=(main_w-overlay_w):y=(main_h-overlay_h) output_video.mp4

  • Duration of an uploaded video in PHP

    I need to know the duration of a video that I have uploaded to a page. I have written a PHP script for doing this :

    When I execute this program via terminal it shows duration, but on calling it in a PHP page it does not give an output.
    Please provide me a solution....
