    Formulaire de création d’une catégorie
    Pour ceux qui connaissent bien SPIP, une catégorie peut être assimilée à une rubrique.
    Dans le cas d’un document de type catégorie, les champs proposés par défaut sont : Texte
    On peut modifier ce formulaire dans la partie :
    Administration > Configuration des masques de formulaire.
    Dans le cas d’un document de type média, les champs non affichés par défaut sont : Descriptif rapide
    Par ailleurs, c’est dans cette partie configuration qu’on peut indiquer le (...)

  • Ajouter notes et légendes aux images

    Pour pouvoir ajouter notes et légendes aux images, la première étape est d’installer le plugin "Légendes".
    Une fois le plugin activé, vous pouvez le configurer dans l’espace de configuration afin de modifier les droits de création / modification et de suppression des notes. Par défaut seuls les administrateurs du site peuvent ajouter des notes aux images.

    MediaSPIP utilise les balises HTML5 video et audio pour la lecture de documents multimedia en profitant des dernières innovations du W3C supportées par les navigateurs modernes.
    Pour les navigateurs plus anciens, le lecteur flash Flowplayer est utilisé.
    Le lecteur HTML5 utilisé a été spécifiquement créé pour MediaSPIP : il est complètement modifiable graphiquement pour correspondre à un thème choisi.

  • Convert and stream videos [on hold]

    I am going to develop a php script on linux based server which will be used to upload videos on server and stream to users. I have seen many open source free/paid libraries available with flash,html5 etc players. After research I have decided to go with ffmpeg to convert videos and use jwPlayer with RTMP protocol to stream videos.

    I am not much familiar with streaming concept but I have researched a lot on this subject since few days, so last I thought to ask here if I am going the correct way to achieve my goals, which are listed below :

    1. My main concern is to start streaming videos as soon page is loaded.
    2. Convert videos after upload ( Found ffmpeg for this purpose is well suited )
    3. Seeking video should be faster (which after searching I found is good with RTMP protocol)

    Please can someone guide me if I am going in the right direction by choosing ffmpeg, jwplayer with RTMP protocol. Thanks a lot for any guidance.

  • FFMPEG unexpected behavior inside nodejs Lambda function

    I'm trying to burn subtitles into a video using FFMPEG. I'm working within a serverless lambda architecture, and we've used FFMPEG with lambda by using layers before and everything worked okay.
Now I'm trying to burn subtitles inside a video using the following command :

    


    ffmpeg -i https://some-bucket.s3.region.amazonaws.com/my-video.mp4 -f mp4 -vf subtitles=sub.srt subtitled-video.mp4


    


    The issue is, that command works perfectly inside my local machine or any other instance I try. However inside my lambda function, I just get the original video without the subtitles.
At first I thought it could be the ffmpeg build I was using, but after trying wiht it, it worked in every other environment I tried.

    


    Also I don't get any error in the output from the ffmpeg job inside lambda, everything seeems to work okay. Just that it doesn't burn the subtitles

    


    I hope you can help me with this issue. Or at least point me in the right direction.

  • How to use ffmpeg to record audio from a video for first 10seconds in Python

    I have rtsp stream coming from a camera which also has audio. My goal is to save the audio. To do this, I have below code :

    When I terminate the python script, it saves the test.wav file which has just the audio from the rtsp stream. Now I am trying to save the first 10sec from the stream into 1 file and then the next 10sec in another file and then it keeps on goining untill terminated.

    To do this, I have thought of putting the ffmpeg stream in a seprate thread and to schedule that thread to run every 10 sec. This way a new stream will create which will save the audio for 10sec and will exit, and then this keeps on going. But to achieve this, I need to know how can we just save the intial 10 sec from the stream. Please help thanks.
