• a command in a script doesn't work when the script is launched by cron

  When I launch the script manually both as a not-root user (with sudo) and as the root, everything work correctly.
When Cron (Cron of the root) launches it, ffmpeg doesn't work (but the others lines of the script work correctly).

  • the permissions of the file ffmpeg

  


  • the permissions of the folder where ffmpeg writes to

  • the path of the file where ffmpeg should write to

  


  


• Apache doesn't load while ffmpeg is working

  I’m using Apache and PHP on a VPS for my site and also FFMPEG for converting the videos on it. But while FFMPEG is converting a video, the site is not loading at all. Is there a way to share server’s resources ? Tried to use "-threads 1" parameter in ffmpeg (the server has 4 cores), but still got the same result.

• Subtitle word scaling with ASS file causing line shifting

  I'm trying to make my subtitles scale one word at a time, but I'm running into an issue with the whole line shifting.
Is there a way I can scale a word, and make the other words not move sue to the scale effect ?
