How can I save the downloaded and converted audios to a specific folder
19 décembre 2022, par Retire YoungI'm trying to download Videos from a specific playlist and converting it to a m4a file for further downloading. The process works perfectly but the files are being saved in the same folder where my Phyton script is located. I choose a specific Output Folder but the files don't appear there.
Any ways to save the files in the desired folder ?

An error message reads as follows :
"input.mp4: No such file or directory"

In my Code block, I censored the playlist link and the user name on the path. Just imagine a working playlist link instead. Thanks in advance !

import os
import subprocess

Replace
with the URL of the YouTube playlist

playlist_url = "PLAYLISTLINK"

Set the output directory for the downloaded files

output_dir = "/Users/USER/Documents/VideoBot/Output"

Use
youtube-dl
to download the latest video in the playlist

subprocess.run(["youtube-dl", "-f", "bestaudio[ext=m4a]", "--playlist-start", "1", "--playlist-end", "1", playlist_url])

Extract the audio from the downloaded video using
ffmpeg

subprocess.run(["ffmpeg", "-i", "input.mp4", "-vn", "-acodec", "copy", "output.m4a"])

Move the extracted audio file to the output directory

os.rename("output.m4a", os.path.join(output_dir, "output.m4a"))

ERROR : opus not found using pkg-config in msys64 on Windows
10 août 2022, par prostargamerI'm trying to build ffmpeg.

I downloaded msys2 x64 from the official website. This is the latest version.

Executed "pacman-Syu", rebooted msys and executed "pacman-Su".

In your file build_ffmpeg_win.sh ffmpeg installs the following packages using pacman :

pacman --noconfirm -Sy
pacman --noconfirm -S msys/make
pacman --noconfirm -S mingw64/mingw-w64-x86_64-opus
pacman --noconfirm -S pkg-config
pacman --noconfirm -S diffutils
pacman --noconfirm -S mingw-w64-x86_64-pkg-config

Then I run "pacman -Qet" in order to get the list of packages :

$ pacman -Qet
base 2020.12-1
diffutils 3.8-1
make 4.3-1
mingw-w64-x86_64-opus 1.3.1-4
pkg-config 0.29.2-4

The opus package is installed.

However, when I try to run "build_ffmpeg_win.sh", then I get the following error at the stage ./configure : "ERROR : opus not found using pkg-config"

The following folders and files are located in the "msys64\mingw64\lib" folder :

pkgconfig (folder)
libopus.a
libopus.dll.a

There is an opus.pc file in the msys64\mingw64\lib\pkgconfig folder, the contents of which refer to /mingw64/lib and /mingw64/include.
pkg-config knows about opus, but for some reason this error occurs during ./configure.

How can I solve this problem ?

pyInstaller : Pack binary executable inside project's executable to run
18 décembre 2023, par zurTLDR ;

I would like to pack the
ffmpeg
executable inside my own executable. Currently I am getting

FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'ffmpeg'
Skipping ./testFile202312061352.mp4 due to FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'ffmpeg'

Details :

I am creating executable file using following command :

pyinstaller cli.py \
 --onefile \
 --add-binary /Users/<machineuser>/anaconda3/envs/my_env/bin/ffmpeg:bin
</machineuser>

The code that uses
ffmpeg
is not authored by me. And I would like to keep that part the same.

When I run from command line while
conda
environment is active I can successfully run it aspython
(or perhapsanaconda
) knows where the binaries are. I have a pretty emptycli.py
. That seems to be the entry point and I hope if it is possible I can set thebin
directory's path there ...

I am able to successfully run the application like following :

(my_env) machineUser folder % "dist/cli_mac_001202312051431" ./testFile202312061352.mp4

I would like to run like following :

(base) machineUser folder % "dist/cli_mac_001202312051431" ./testFile202312061352.mp4

I would like to keep the world out side my executable's tmp folder the same. I would not want to change something that will be "left behind" after the exec is terminated.

Question :

Can some one please mention how to modify the
pyinstaller
command or what to change incli.py
to achieve it successfully ?
