    MediaSPIP automatically converts uploaded files to internet-compatible formats.
    Video files are encoded in MP4, Ogv and WebM (supported by HTML5) and MP4 (supported by Flash).
    Audio files are encoded in MP3 and Ogg (supported by HTML5) and MP3 (supported by Flash).
    Where possible, text is analyzed in order to retrieve the data needed for search engine detection, and then exported as a series of image files.

    Pour un fonctionnement correct et optimal, plusieurs choses sont à prendre en considération.
    Il est important, après avoir installé apache2, mysql et php5, d’installer d’autres logiciels nécessaires dont les installations sont décrites dans les liens afférants.   • No sound when running ffmpeg on youtube live

    Despite my limited knowledge in ffmpeg, I've managed to livestream my birdbox camera to youtube using ffmpeg running on a raspberry pi. The camera has also audio and by using local vlc in windows with rtsp, the audio is ok.

    



    However, on youtube there is no sound (same rtsp command as used locally in windows), and I see this "warning" in youtube studio : "The current bitrate (0) of the audio stream is lower than the recommended bitrate. We recommend using a 128 Kbps bitrate for the audio stream."

    



    How can I get the sound through youtube ?
This is the command I run. The command was found on the net, and I adopted it for my usage, and got video working straight away :

    Trying to extract unique faces from a YouTube video with the code below which is designed to download the YouTube video and extract unique faces into a folder named faces. I got an empty video and folder. Please do check the Python code below

  • FFMPEG & YouTube Live - "Bad Video Settings" - Please use a keyframe frequency of four seconds or less

    Trying to live stream to YouTube and from my perspective, everything seems to be working fine. However YouTube keeps giving me the following message :

    Bad Video Settings

    Please use a keyframe frequency of four seconds or less. Currently, keyframes are not being sent often enough, which will cause buffering. The current keyframe frequency is 8.4 seconds. Note that ingestion errors can cause incorrect GOP (group of pictures) sizes.

    I’ve dug around for hours and so far nothing seems to be making any difference. I added -g 60 and as I didn’t fully understand I also tried adding -g 2 but neither worked. Here is the command I’m currently using :
