  I read blog about print youtube video on "http://www.labnol.org/internet/print-youtube-video/28217/".

  I have a self-hosted video site.

  But video hosting makes too many traffic.

  So I decideed another plan for site.

  It's to generate thumbnails of external video. Is it possible ?

  I found making thumbnails using ffmpeg, but there are a lot of videos in external platform(Like Youtube, Vimeo, etc)

  After I saw Amit Agarwal's blog("print youtube video"), I was very impressed.

  Anyway if it is impossible, I should find another way.

• Save changed frame in FFMPEG API

  I extracts frames from H.264 video by avcodec_decode_video2(pCodecCtx, pFrame, &frameFinished, &packet); procedure (like in example from https://github.com/chelyaev/ffmpeg-tutorial/blob/master/tutorial01.c) and changed values of samples. How I can save these changes in original video ? After the change of the frame by the pointer he does not change.

  And I have a problem with avcodec_encode_video2 function : assertion avctx->codec->encode2 failed at .... What does this mean ?

• Android : How to save two overlapped videos as one using mediacodec ?

  I want to do something similar to this on android.

  I want to load video from file and display it twice with some transformations (mostly resize). And i want to encode it as one video file.

  Is it possible to do it in native android ? With mediacodec or in any other way ?

  I know there is a ffmpeg but i have trouble compiling it and working with Xamarin.
