  • Activation de l’inscription des visiteurs

    Il est également possible d’activer l’inscription des visiteurs ce qui permettra à tout un chacun d’ouvrir soit même un compte sur le canal en question dans le cadre de projets ouverts par exemple.
    Pour ce faire, il suffit d’aller dans l’espace de configuration du site en choisissant le sous menus "Gestion des utilisateurs". Le premier formulaire visible correspond à cette fonctionnalité.

  • Cutting sections with -ss and -t is not frame accurate

    I'm using ffmpeg 6.0 to extract small sections from longer videos. According to the doc i can use the -ss option to specify the start time and the -t option to specify the duration and this should result in frame accurate cuts (since FFmpeg 2.1).

    


    However, in my testing i found that the cuts are not frame accurate. I'm using the following command :

    


    ffmpeg -ss 10 -i ffmpeg -ss 10 -i https://storage.googleapis.com/klap-assets/Frame%20Counter%20%5B4K%2C%2060%20FPS%5D%20%E2%80%93%200100.mp4   -t 10 -y -vcodec libx264 -acodec aac -movflags +faststart out2.mp4   -t 10 -y -vcodec libx264 -acodec aac -movflags +faststart out.mp4


    


    This result in a video that start at 9:57 (-2 frames) and ends at 19:57 (-2 frames) instead of 10:00 and 20:00.

    


    Also weird is that ffprobe on the resulting video show its duration being exactly 10 seconds.

    I've done some testing with other videos and results are never totally frame accurate.

    


    What am i missing here ? How can i get frame accurate cuts with FFmpeg ?

    using ffmpeg I want to trim and transcode a mpeg4 from ts / m3u8

    I wanted to choose between codecs based on the system, if gpu is avaiable I'd like to opt to use it, right now I just check if the codec is available

    if it is a I wanted to move that process over to the gpu, not just use libx264. Here is the error log. Studying hard on the solution but wold super apperciate any expert advice.

    


    other considerations are - runs in a docker container on a pi5, pibian on the host apline on in the container, container runs in privledged mode

  • FFMPEG update from 5.0 to 6.0 out_0_0 buffer queued [closed]

    I've been using ffmpeg 5.0 for some time, encoding an audio stream to an rtp server, but since I updated to ffmpeg 6.0 I get this :

    I tried changing the output to -f null /dev/null to see if the rtp was the issue, but I get the same thing. I made sure the user running it was a member to the "audio" group and arecord -l and aplay -l both show the card with the right name and information. I even tried to use its hw code instead of the default name, and same issue.
