• Issue when calling ffmpeg.c twice that makes the app crashes ?

  I'm trying to call ffmpeg.c to trim a video based on this code 'video-trimmer'. So when I try to run the activity (that loads and uses the native lib) the first time I click trin it works and I could trim the video but when I try to run it again it crashes (and it only work with the application restarts).

  So I spend three days looking for a solution for this issue, most of the answers says the issue with the static variables in ffmpeg.c and creating a lib that loads and unload the class fixes the issue (answer1, answer2). So I tried to apply the solution that is based on the answers and this github repo on the video-trimmer project but all my attempts failed.

  Is there any one knows about a fork of the 'video-trimmer' project that fixes the issue ?. or can anybody provide step by step answer of how to implement the solution in the 'video-trimmer' project (because I tried to follow all the solution on the web and apply them in that project but with no luck).

• Is there any way to compile ffmpeg library on Windows ?

  Hi I have been working for weeks to compile ffmpeg library on Windows platform.But I found no way so far.Is it there any way to compile ffmpeg library on Windows 7.

  I am using Cygwin on Windows.
  Whenever I try to do ndk-build I get this message.

  Android NDK: ERROR:jni/yuv2rgb/Android.mk:ffmpeg-prebuilt: LOCAL_SRC_FILES points to a missing file
  
  Android NDK: Check that jni/ffmpeg-build/armeabi/libffmpeg.so exists  or that its path is correct
  
  /cygdrive/D/AndroidNDK/android-ndk-r8c/build/core/prebuilt-library.mk:43: *** Android NDK: Aborting    .  Stop.

  & while searching for solution of this error I found that I will have to compile the libraries first.For compiling by using ./build_android.sh. I got this error message.

  ./build_android.sh
  
  ./build_android.sh: line 72: ./configure: No such file or directory

  Please please guide me what should I do.

• getruntime() exec() with double quotes in command

  I want to execute an ffmpeg command, the method I am using works with every command on my list except the following one which contains double quotes to set a filter (-vf) parameter

  ffmpeg -i 2012-12-27.mp4 -vf "movie=bb.png [movie]; [in] [movie] overlay=0:0 [out]" -vcodec libx264 -acodec copy out.mp4

  I have tried changing the quotes for single quotes with no luck. The command works at the android terminal with both single and double quotes.

  The app I'm developing uses about 5 ffmpeg commands, all work except this one, is this some bug ?

  I can't find a concrete solution to this problem, breaking the args into an array and then passing this to runtime().exec() as suggested elsewhere doesn't seem to work, or simply trying to escape the quotes with \" won't work.

  Both of the files referenced in the above command are located in the sdcard, I removed the concatenation of the command out so that things don't get messy, rest assured these commands work in a terminal when referencing the full paths to the files.
  I contatenate the string passed to getRuntime().exec() using a stringbuilder and`getexternalstorageDirectory().getabsolutepath() to get the path to each file like I have been doing with previous commands when using the process class.

  I am using Jelly Bean 4.2 in case that is of any significance.
