• FFmpeg : java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError while calling Runnable class

  I need to take a picture file and an audio file and create a video.
  I know that it's possible to do with the help of

  Runtime.getRuntime().exec("ffmpeg -i image.jpeg -i audio.mp3 out.avi") 

  but only for rooted devices, so I've tried to create JNI wrapper for main() from ffmpeg.c and call it from my Activity like here : http://demo860.blogspot.com/2010/07/android-ffmpeg-dynamic-module-jni.html

  But I have

  E/AndroidRuntime(25682): java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Java_com_ccmedia_codec_ffmpeg_mod_1run .

  And I can't understand why... FFmpeg build was successful...
  Could anyone help me, please ? I'll really appreciate if you could help me. Thank you.

• iOS - Build/configure FFmpeg failing, "unable to create an executable file" ?

  I'm attempting to build FFmpeg for iOS. I've tried following several tutorials on doing this (for example, tutorial 1, tutorial 2), all of which result in the same problem :

  /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/bin/gcc is unable to create an executable file.
  
  C compiler test failed.

  The configuration setup I'm attempting to use is the following :

  With this I have attempted replacing the compiler being used with virtually every compiler in /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/bin. All of which still result in the same problem. Even just removing the --cc compiler parameter all together and using the default one on the system ends in the same problem. Any suggestion to how I might fix this ?

  I have videos being directly uploaded to S3 using Amazon's CORS configuration. Videos are uploaded via a dedicated S3 form, once they have been uploaded successfully the URL of the video is appended to the @video.file hidden_field via javascript and then the video saves.

  I can't get this after_save method to work which takes a screenshot of the video and saves it to S3 via carrierwave after the video has been saved as a rails object. ( It was previously working using a carrierwave video upload instance )

  It errors out withErrno::ENOENT - No such file or directory - the file 'http://bucket-name.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/video/file/secure-random-hex/video_name.m4v' does not exist: I have tried running this method as a class method to call it from the console but it always comes back with the same error, even though the video exists.

  My bucket is set to public, read and write. How come it doesn't think the file exists ?

  If anyone needs more code just shout, thanks in advance.
