    MediaSPIP utilise les balises HTML5 video et audio pour la lecture de documents multimedia en profitant des dernières innovations du W3C supportées par les navigateurs modernes.
    Pour les navigateurs plus anciens, le lecteur flash Flowplayer est utilisé.
    Le lecteur HTML5 utilisé a été spécifiquement créé pour MediaSPIP : il est complètement modifiable graphiquement pour correspondre à un thème choisi.
    Ces technologies permettent de distribuer vidéo et son à la fois sur des ordinateurs conventionnels (...)

  • Convert raw image using open-source library with permissive license

    I need to convert a raw, rgb32-formatted image to a PNG with a library (written in, in order of preference, Java, C, C++) having a permissive (e.g. BSD or Apache) license.

    I'm able to convert the image using FFmpeg with this call :

    ffmpeg.exe -vframes 1 -vcodec rawvideo -f rawvideo -pix_fmt rgb32 -s 20x40 -i infile -f image2 -vcodec png out.png

    where 20x40 is the width by the height.

    But, sadly, I need to avoid FFmpeg due to its license.

    I've seen people speculate that libpng could do the job, but I'm skeptical given the documentation I've seen at the libpng site. Perhaps you'll give an example.

    I don't know what the rawvideo and rgb32 values mean to FFmpeg, so I asked this question.

    EDIT 1 : edited the ffmpeg call to show width x height.

    I'm wanting to take a bunch of images and make a video slideshow out of them. There'll be an app for that, right ? Yup, quite a few it seems. The problem is I want the slides synced to a piece of music, and all the apps I've seen only allow you to show each slide for a multiple of a whole second. I want them to show for multiples of 1.714285714 seconds to fit with 140 bpm.

    The tools I've seen generally seem to have ffmpeg under the hood, so presumably this kind of thing could be done with a script. But ffmpeg has sooo many options...I'm hoping someone will have something close.

    I'll have up to about 100 slides, the ones that have to show for 3.428571428 secs or whatever I guess I can simply show twice.

  • Commandline video/image crossfading

    I have a test.avi
    using ffmpeg or mencoder or some other commandline utility,
    I want to take splash.png put it at the beginning of the video,
    fade it out, show test.avi, then at the end of test.avi, fade splash.png back in.

    How would I go about doing this ?
