  • Support audio et vidéo HTML5

    10 avril 2011

  • PHP FFmpeg video aspect ratio problem

    18 mai 2013, par Herr K

i compiled the new version of FFMPEG and the padding commands have been deprecated.
As i try to get familiar with the new -vf pad= commands, i want to ask, how can i
convert a video without changing it's aspect ratio.

I've checked numerous solutions from stackoverflow, nothing seemed to work.
Can someone, please post a working PHP example or cmd line. I would be VERY happy.

Please note that the videos in question, could be 4:3 and also be 16:9

Let's say, i convert a 16:9 video to 640x480 format. It will need some bars at
the top and at the bottom. That is what i want to do.

    Thanks

  • Android NDK & FFMPEG build

    22 mars 2017, par Android-Droid

I’m trying to build FFMPEG library for my android application using the NDK. I have downloaded the source code from it’s website and I think I build it (it’s my first try working with NDK and ffmpeg). I have created a build.sh file which I’m using to execute it from command line on Mac OS X. But I have a few questions...

First things is as I know I need Android.mk file so I can use the builded library in my application, but I don’t know how to do that for reasons which I told you above. After I run my build.sh I get android folder with a few folders and some libraries. So my first question is, how can I build the Android.mk file which I need...and maybe if someone can explain me why I need it.

    enter image description here

My second question is I need some libraries from ffmpeg to be able to use them from my app, but after the build i can’t see them in my source tree. I know that I have to enable them in my build.sh and I think I did,but I can’t see them. So any kind of information about my build file will be helpful for me to understand how to configure it.
Here is how it looks like :

       #!/bin/bash
    ######################################################
    # Usage:
    # put this script in top of FFmpeg source tree
    # ./build_android
    # It generates binary for following architectures:
    # ARMv6
    # ARMv6+VFP
    # ARMv7+VFM-ïd16 (Tegra2)
    # ARMv7+Neon (Cortex-A8)
    # Customizing:
    # 1. Feel free to change ./configure parameters for more features
    # 2. To adapt other ARM variants
    # set $CPU and $OPTIMIZE_CFLAGS
    # call build_one

  • Install FFMPEG on WAMP

    1er décembre 2014, par nico55555

I’ve probably spent over 12 hours trying to install FFMPEG on WAMP. I’m aware that other people have had this question answered on this site, however it does not work for my setup.

I have tried the below :

    Download ffmpeg_new
Copy php_ffmpeg.dll from the php5 folder to the C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.2.9-2\ext
Copy files from common to the windows/system32 folder
    Add extension=php_ffmpeg.dll to php.ini file
    Restarted all services (Apache, PHP...)

My current setup is PHP 5.2.1, Apache 2.0.63. I have a Windows 7 64bit computer.

I get the following error in my PHP error log :

[22-Jun-2012 01:39:31] PHP Warning : PHP Startup : Unable to load dynamic library ’c :/wamp/bin/php/php5.2.1/ext/php_ffmpeg.dll’ - The specified module could not be found.
    in Unknown on line 0

Obviously I have placed the module in the ext folder.

Phpinfo.php verifies that the FFMPEG module is not being loaded. I have tried installing PHP 5.3 (with a later FFMPEG version), 5.2.6 and 5.2.9-2, but the module still fails to load. Is there anything else I should try ? Does having a 64bit Windows 7 computer make any difference ?
