Creating farms of unique websites
13 avril 2011, parMediaSPIP platforms can be installed as a farm, with a single "core" hosted on a dedicated server and used by multiple websites.
This allows (among other things) : implementation costs to be shared between several different projects / individuals rapid deployment of multiple unique sites creation of groups of like-minded sites, making it possible to browse media in a more controlled and selective environment than the major "open" (...)

Change file format from flv to anything android will play
19 octobre 2011, par BilthonI need to take this file which encoded is in h264 but in a flv container and just put it in a mp4, 3gp or whatever file format the android MediaPlayer will understand.
I want to do this natively. As I will not be decoding nor encoding anything I think I will not be wasting a lot of power (am I wrong ?)
I followed the instructions from here http://www.roman10.net/?p=394 and could sucessfully compile and use ffmpeg and use it with mp4 and 3gp files.
But when it comes to flv files it fails. I understand there is no format definition for flv files in that specific port of ffmpeg for android.
There is no libavformat/flv.h header file for instance.
Maybe that's why this works :
extern AVInputFormat ff_mov_demuxer ;
av_register_input_format(&ff_mov_demuxer) ;While this fails :
extern AVInputFormat ff_flv_demuxer;
av_register_input_format(&ff_flv_demuxer);Question is, is there a light at the end of the tunnel ? has someone done something similar ? is it useful ? I mean, I can always just throw the flv media file into a flash player and voila.. the thing is that this would be a parcial solution, as it will not work for all those folks running slower devices that can't yet run Flash.

PS. Just in case. Here's some info about the file I'm talking about :

Elimination compression from videos generated from images using ffmpeg ?
5 novembre 2011, par MagzSo I'm using ffmpeg to generate videos from a series of images. Unfortunately every video I've generated so far becomes compressed about halfway through (these are about 10-30 second videos). I've tried a lot of different options, but here's an example and the resulting output.
Any suggestions ?

FFmpeg avcodec_find_encoder problem
13 novembre 2012, par netI'm newbie in ffmpeg.
my problem is "avcodec_find_encoder(CODEC_ID_H264) ;" func always returning null.
ffmpeg configure is below on my ubuntu system.
./ffmpeg
FFmpeg version SVN-r26306, Copyright (c) 2000-2011 the FFmpeg developers
built on Jan 11 2011 10:34:49 with gcc 4.4.5
configuration: --enable-gpl --enable-version3 --enable-nonfree --enable-postproc --enable-libfaac --enable-libmp3lame --enable-libopencore-amrnb --enable-libopencore-amrwb --enable-libtheora --enable-libvorbis --enable-libvpx --enable-libx264 --enable-libxvid --enable-x11grab
libavutil 50.36. 0 / 50.36. 0
libavcore 0.16. 0 / 0.16. 0
libavcodec 52.108. 0 / 52.108. 0
libavformat 52.92. 0 / 52.92. 0
libavdevice 52. 2. 3 / 52. 2. 3
libavfilter 1.72. 0 / 1.72. 0
libswscale 0.12. 0 / 0.12. 0
libpostproc 51. 2. 0 / 51. 2. 0as you can see, configuration contains —enable-libx264
so I think avcodec_find_encoder(CODEC_ID_H264) ; have to return something not null...
please let me know how to solve this problem ?ps) I call avcodec_init() and av_register_all() in my program.
when I compile my test program, using below
gcc -o test test.c -lavutil -lavformat -lavcodec -lx264 -lz -lm
thanks
