    MediaSPIP utilise les balises HTML5 video et audio pour la lecture de documents multimedia en profitant des dernières innovations du W3C supportées par les navigateurs modernes.
    Pour les navigateurs plus anciens, le lecteur flash Flowplayer est utilisé.
    Le lecteur HTML5 utilisé a été spécifiquement créé pour MediaSPIP : il est complètement modifiable graphiquement pour correspondre à un thème choisi.

    Le chemin d’un document audio ou vidéo dans SPIPMotion est divisé en trois étapes distinctes.

    When watching online videos, the web player can always drag the progress bar without having to download the entire video. This is thanks to the Range in the header, which can specify the range for playback. But I can’t find a way to use Python or ffmpeg to capture a part of the video content from a network video.

    


    The program does not need to be very accurate in how long it takes to capture a screenshot, but it does not need to download the entire video completely.

    


  • Why ffmpeg take lot of data while extracting frames from a online video ?

    I just extracted frames from a online video , it extracted around 956 frames. Size of all the extracted frames is 28.6 mb on hard drive but it just consume around 400-500 mb data. I extracted 1 frame every 3 second

    


    here is the command

    


    ffmpeg -ss 00:02:45.000 -i 'example.com/1mp4' -t 45:02.000 -vf fps=1/3 %01d.jpeg


    


    Is there any way I can see frames of a video online whenever I hover pointer on duration of video ?

    


    I expected to consume it's less data

    


  • How can I install ffmpeg on online ftp [closed]

    I bought ftp and domain with ssh access and I want host there my bot which uses ffmpeg. I don't have access to sudo su or apt or to bin file. Has somebody had the same problem or does somebody know what to do ? I was thinking it will be easy to host bot online but on the beginning I have already problems.
