ffmpeg produced .wav reads only zeros with scipy.io.wavfile

I wanted to do some analysis on a song using Python’s scipy.io.wavfile. Since I only have the song as .mp3 I converted the file to .wav using ffmpeg the following way :
ffmpeg -i test.mp3 test.wav
The .wav file plays perfectly well with vlc player, but wavfile shows only zeroes when reading it :

Merge three media files (Video and image) into one

The first file is 1600X900 .mp4 file which will be placed at the left side of the screen (Height size will be full screen and width will cover two-thirds of the screen). The second file is 640X480 .png file which will be placed at the upper right of the screen (Height size will be half of the screen and width will cover one-third of the screen). The third file is 640X480 .webm file which will be placed at the lower right of the screen (Height size will be half of screen and width will cover one-thirds of the screen). I want to merge these three files in a single screen as mentioned above. Can anyone help me ? Thanks

How to make a windows software that includes / works with FFMPEG ?

Using FFMPEG, i wanna make a Windows app that generates "Art Tracks" (videos like those you see on YouTube "Topic" Channels with the album cover and artist name - example : https://youtu.be/t61PjCxtT0U )
Is it possible to integrate ffmpeg to an IDE like visual studio to make this ?Thanks in advance !
