  • Error FFmpeg in Android

    19 novembre 2013, par Mark

    I'm using FrameGrabber to load a video from sdcard and perform some image processing operation. I followed the tutorial at JavaCV site to load javacc and ffmpeg.
    Currently, to run the application, I'm using my tablet (Asus TF 101G with Android version 4.0.3) connected to my pc and it works fine. But if I try to run the same application in another device (e.g. Nexus with Android 4.1.2) I get these errors :

    Any suggestion please ?

    I want to attach also my Android.mk file

    LOCAL_PATH := $(call my-dir)
    include $(CLEAR_VARS)
    OPENCV_LIB_TYPE:=STATIC
    include C:/Users/Marco/Desktop/new_ADT/adt-bundle-windows-x86_64/OpenCV-2.4.3.2-android-sdk/sdk/native/jni/OpenCV.mk

    APP_PLATFORM := android-8

    Any suggestion ?
    Thanks

    Also I tried to change the application.mk file in this way but with no results :

    APP_STL := gnustl_static
    APP_CPPFLAGS := -frtti -fexceptions
    APP_ABI := armeabi
    LOCAL_CFLAGS += -march=armv7-a -mfloat-abi=softfp -mfpu=vfp -mfpu=neon
    LOCAL_LDLIBS += -Wl,--fix-cortex-a8
    APP_PLATFORM := android-8
  • A "region code" restriction for a custom created video dvd file [closed]

    17 décembre 2012, par user931392

    I want to create a video dvd ( no menus, just "plug and play" ) from a few video files. I`m doing it like this :

    ffmpeg -i sample-media/hellboy-2.wmv -y -target ntsc-dvd sample-media-to-mpeg/hellboy-2.vob

    dvdauthor -o sample-dvd -x dvdauthor-settings.xml

    mkisofs -dvd-video -o hellboy-2-trailers.iso sample-dvd/

    where "dvdauthor-settings.xml" is : link.

    But when I try to play the iso file in windows it says :

    Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because the disc prohibits playback in your region of the world. You must obtain a disc that is intended for your geographic region.

    When I open the *.IFO file with IfoEdit it says that all world regions are unabled.

    Can someone tell me why is this happening ? ( maybe the whole process of creating the *.iso file is wrong ? )

  • Call an external dynamic library using node

    25 septembre 2018, par Merc

    I need to edit clips using node using one of the existing video manipulation libraries. (Note : I am aware that I could run an existing editing executable like FFMPEG, but that’s not what I am after).

    Question : What’s the best way to call native libraries in Node ?

    Background information : I will need to talk to one one these libraries : Gstreamer, FFmpeg/LibAV or libVLC.

    My ideal outcome is to have a nice, robust library that I use directly using node, but my lack of experience in terms of using native libraries, and the somehow fragmented world of video editing libraries.
