  • Installation en mode ferme

    Le mode ferme permet d’héberger plusieurs sites de type MediaSPIP en n’installant qu’une seule fois son noyau fonctionnel.
    C’est la méthode que nous utilisons sur cette même plateforme.
    L’utilisation en mode ferme nécessite de connaïtre un peu le mécanisme de SPIP contrairement à la version standalone qui ne nécessite pas réellement de connaissances spécifique puisque l’espace privé habituel de SPIP n’est plus utilisé.

  • Demande de création d’un canal

    En fonction de la configuration de la plateforme, l’utilisateur peu avoir à sa disposition deux méthodes différentes de demande de création de canal. La première est au moment de son inscription, la seconde, après son inscription en remplissant un formulaire de demande.

  • Right choice to play audio and video content

    What I'm doing :

    I need to play audio and video files that are not supported by Apple on iPhone/iPad for example mkv/mka files which my contain several audio channels.

    I'm using libffmpeg to find audio and video streams in media file.
    Video is being decoded with avcodec_decode_video2 and audio with avcodec_decode_audio3
    the return values are following for each function are following

    • avcodec_decode_video2 - returns AVFrame structure which encapsulates information about the video video frame from the pakcage, specifically is has data field which is a pointer to the picture/channel planes.
    • avcodec_decode_audio3 - returns samples of type int16_t * which I guess is the raw audio data

    So basically I've done all this and successfully decoding the media content.

    What I have to do :
    I've to play the audio and video accordingly using Apples services. The playback I need to perform should support mixing of audio channels while playing video, i.e. let say mkv file contains two audio channel and a video channel. So I would like to know which service will be the appropriate choice for me ? My research showed that AudioQueue service might be useful audio playback, and probably AVFoundation for video.

    Please help to find the right technology for my case i.e. video playeback + audio playback with possible audio channel mixing.

  • How build ffmpeg optimized for iOS, using hardware decoding probably ?

    I make a FFMPEG-based player for ios. It works fine on simulator, but on real-device (iPhone 4) the frame rate is low and make my audio and video out of sync. the player works fine on iPhone 4s, so I guess it's just problem about device's computing power.

    So, is there anyway to build FFMPEG optimized for iOS device (armv7, arvm7s arch) ? or is there anyway to utilize ios device hardware to decode video stream ?

    My video stream is encode in H264/AAC.

  • ffmpeg - Incompatible sample format '(null)'

    I convert videos from different sources with ffmpeg to mp4 with libx264 codec. After conversation time to time I got incorrect format error when trying to load already converted video with ffmpeg : Incompatible sample format '(null)' for codec 'aac', auto-selecting format 's16'

    Seems, it is audio stream problem with aac codec ? How to fix or how to convert videos to mp4 to be sure that I will not get the following error ? Maybe somehow need to specify audio format at the ffmpeg convert command ?

    ps. Video must work at Iphone/Ipad.
    pps. the main problem, that such videos with the following error can not be pseudo-streamed with nginx (got 500 Error)
    ppps. and sorry for my bad english, please, correct my text if need. thanks.
