    Anyone can submit a new graphic theme or template and make it available to the MediaSPIP community.

    Pour pouvoir ajouter notes et légendes aux images, la première étape est d’installer le plugin "Légendes".
    Une fois le plugin activé, vous pouvez le configurer dans l’espace de configuration afin de modifier les droits de création / modification et de suppression des notes. Par défaut seuls les administrateurs du site peuvent ajouter des notes aux images.

  • Horizontally show two videos side by side and export to one video

    What I am trying to achieve :
    Programmatically (using some kind of script) combine two different videos to one video where the videos are shown side by side and sound from both videos is played simultaneously.

    I found at least two ways I could display two videos side by side but in each one I have a different problem that makes it difficult to complete the process :

    1. Avisyth and Avs2Avi :
      Avisyth really makes the process easy. With a simple Avisyth script like this you should be able to play two videos side by side :

      video1=AVISource("d:\file1.avi")<br />
      video2=AVISource("d:\file2.avi")<br />
      StackHorizontal(video1,video2)

      The creation of a new output file can be done with avs2avi.
      The problem here is that i am not able to play even one avi file with avisyth because I get "AviSource couldn’t locate a decompressor for fourcc xvid" message. I googled for the solutions to that problem but nothing helped. GSpot says that i have all the codecs needed and it seems I can not do anything. Because I can not get to running real videos, I dont know if the final video plays sounds from both videos. Avisyth installed correctly and I am able to run the following script StackHorizontal(version ,version).

    2. ffmpeg
      Works like a charm with two videos and the final file BUT i do not get the sounds from both videos but only the first one. I found out that the solution to add sound from the second video will be by using the libfaac in the command line, like that :

       ffmpeg.exe -i video1.mp4 -vf "[in] scale=iw/2:ih/2, pad=2*iw:ih [left]; movie=video2.mp4, scale=iw/3:ih/3 [right]; [left][right] overlay=main_w/2:0 [out]" -c:a libfaac -b:v 768k Output.mp4

    but i always get an error that the encoder libfaac can not be found. I downloaded the libfaac.dll but still no result.

    Is there a solution to any of these problems ? Is there another way to programmatically make one video from two videos that are played side by side ? Thanks in advance.

    Hi I’m trying to make my first "real" bash script to do some real work than can be executed both manually and through cron jobs.

    The script should download and install the ffmpeg-static-build from https://johnvansickle.com/ffmpeg

    Here is what I’ve got so far :

    As you can see in the script i would like to add the md5sum check but it fails (got the md5sum check part from Compare md5 sums in bash script)

    If i remove the md5sum part the script is working, but right now the script fails at the | tar -xf | part with this code

    Have made some changes to the script based on the suggestions in this thread, but my problem is I have no output what so ever at this state :( So I think it’s time to ask for the next clue

    But still having some issues :(

    1. Running this script returns : a blanc shell, but I’ve expected one of the printf statements
    2. When I’m trying to narrow down the problem and going back to basic and trying to run the script with only the "if" part it fails with 44 : Syntax error : "(" unexpected
    3. running the very same "if" part typed directly into the shell/terminal itself it’s all happy !!

  • Add multiple audio over a background audio using ffmpeg

    I am trying to create an audio file which will have a base audio and multiple other audios over it.
    And also when the overlayed audio plays, the background audio should be mute or in lower volume.

    For eg :
    There is a song A.mp3. Over this song, i want to add multiple other audios (1.mp3, 2.mp3, 3.mp3 ......) at a particular time period. Let say, 1.mp3 plays at 5th sec to 8th sec, 2 .mp3 plays at 10th sec to 12th sec and so on.
    Also this should be added as an overlay such that, background sound will always be playing and when the overlayed audio plays, the background audio should be muted or slowed in volume.

    I tried with ffmeg library but haven’t found any solution yet.
