  • Support audio et vidéo HTML5

    10 avril 2011

  • compiling ffmpeg for iPhone SDK 4.3 [error : is unable to create an executable file.]

    12 février 2012, par user509020

Like many others.. I'm compiling ffmpeg using gas preprocessor

    http://lists.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/ffmpeg-devel/2009-October/077701.html

    This is my command

    ./configure --cc=/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/bin/arm-apple-darwin10-gcc-4.2.1 --as='gas-preprocessor.pl /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/bin/arm-apple-darwin10-gcc-4.2.1' --sysroot=/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneOS4.3.sdk --enable-cross-compile --target-os=darwin --arch=arm7 --cpu=cortex-a8 --enable-pic

    the error :

/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/bin/arm-apple-darwin10-gcc-4.2.1 is unable to create an executable file.
    C compiler test failed.

I looked up the /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/bin/ folder using Finder..
    arm-apple-darwin10-gcc-4.2.1 was there..

    Thanks,
    Suhas

  • Write timed Live Photo metadata to video using FFMPEG

20 décembre 2020, par Luke Burns

According to Apple Live Photo file format, there are three pieces of metadata that need to be written for a JPEG and MOV to be accepted as a live photo. I can use exiftool and ffmpeg to write the necessary content identifier metadata, but I'm having trouble with the timed metadata : ["com.apple.quicktime.still-image-time" : 0xFF].

I can't even manage to produce a copy of an existing live photo MOV file using ffmpeg that preserves the necessary timed metadata.

    ffmpeg -i original.mov -map 0 -c copy -movflags use_metadata_tags copy.mov

copies the global metadata (i.e. com.apple.quicktime.content.identifier), but loses the necessary still-image-time which can be confirmed using exiftool :

    > exiftool -G -U -ee original.mov | grep 'Still Image Time'
[QuickTime]     Still Image Time                : -1
> exiftool -G -U -ee copy.mov | grep 'Still Image Time'
>

How can I write the timed metadata using ffmpeg—specifically the still-image-time data ?

  • convert 5.1 PRORES to Prores stereo

    26 avril 2021, par user2920456

I am trying to extract a prores video with just 2.0 (with L R on same track) from a Prores with the below audio track layout. How can I do that using the FFmpeg library ?

I could not figure out which command to use from the below ffmpeg library spec https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/AudioChannelManipulation#a2monostereo
