    Pour pouvoir ajouter notes et légendes aux images, la première étape est d’installer le plugin "Légendes".
    Une fois le plugin activé, vous pouvez le configurer dans l’espace de configuration afin de modifier les droits de création / modification et de suppression des notes. Par défaut seuls les administrateurs du site peuvent ajouter des notes aux images.

    You can help us to improve the language used in the software interface to make MediaSPIP more accessible and user-friendly. You can also translate the interface into any language that allows it to spread to new linguistic communities.
    To do this, we use the translation interface of SPIP where the all the language modules of MediaSPIP are available. Just subscribe to the mailing list and request further informantion on translation.

  • FFmpeg : How to split video efficiently ?

    I wish to split a large avi video into two smaller consecutive videos. I am using ffmpeg.

    One way is to run ffmpeg two times :

    ffmpeg -i input.avi -vcodec copy -acodec copy -ss 00:00:00 -t 00:30:00 output1.avi
    
ffmpeg -i input.avi -vcodec copy -acodec copy -ss 00:30:00 -t 00:30:00 output2.avi

    But according to manpage of ffmpeg, I can make more than one ouput file from one input file using just one line :

    ffmpeg -i input.avi -vcodec copy -acodec copy -ss 00:00:00 -t 00:30:00 output1.avi \
    
   -vcodec copy -acodec copy -ss 00:30:00 -t 00:30:00 output2.avi

    My question is, does the later approach save computation time and memory ?

    I'm trying to encode a video with an mp3 and have that audio stream loop while the video stream is still running. The video steam is priority.

    I haven't seen commands in ffmpeg that allow this specifically. Does anyone have an idea ?

  • WebM Encoded file plays in Chrome but not FFv6 HTML5-Video

    I'm trying to use the new fancy html5 video player element and I was wondering :
    I encoded a high resolution .mov container in VLC v1.1.9 to WebM format (although an FFMPEG command line would be extremely valuable if you have one handy) and it plays just fine in Chrome, but it won't open in Firefox. Would anyone have any ideas or in what direction I should be looking ?
