  • Ffmpeg I/O error

    11 septembre 2011, par David542

    I am trying to get info on a file. I can this on either a file or url on my local machine. However, when using my server, I can only get info on a file. This is what happens when I try a URL :

    [david542@web ~]$ ffmpeg -i http://url/1video.mp4
    FFmpeg version UNKNOWN, Copyright (c) 2000-2009 Fabrice Bellard, et al.
     configuration: --enable-gpl --enable-libamr-nb --enable-libamr-wb --enable-libfaac --enable-libfaad --enable-libmp3lame --enable-nonfree
     libavutil     49.14. 0 / 49.14. 0
     libavcodec    52.15. 0 / 52.15. 0
     libavformat   52.28. 0 / 52.28. 0
     libavdevice   52. 1. 0 / 52. 1. 0
     built on Apr 30 2009 20:58:02, gcc: 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-44)
    http://url/1video.mp4: I/O error occurred
    Usually that means that input file is truncated and/or corrupted.

    However, the file is not corrupted, as this works fine on my local machine. What do I need to do to fix this ? Thank you.

  • Error concatenating two files with ffmpeg ubuntu

    3 janvier 2014, par Dan Ramos

    The following command works fine in OS X :

    ffmpeg -f concat -i videos_playlist.txt -c copy final.mkv

    But when I try to run it on ubuntu i get the following :

    Any idea what I'm missing or a possible work around ?

  • What is wrong with mjpeg stream, ffserver and ffplay ?

    9 septembre 2013, par Ilya Yevlampiev

    I'm creating mjpeg stream from image files using ffmpeg and write it to ffserver's feed :

    sudo ffmpeg -loop 1 -i fon.jpeg -vcodec mjpeg -f mjpeg http://localhost:8090/feed1.ffm

    ffmpeg version 2.0 Copyright (c) 2000-2013 the FFmpeg developers

    ffserver is configured as

    Port 8090

    FileMaxSize 3M
    </feed>
    <stream>
    Feed feed.ffm
    Format rtsp
    VideoCodec mjpeg
    VideoFrameRate 30
    VideoBufferSize 80000
    VideoBitRate 200
    VideoQMin 1
    VideoQMax 5
    VideoSize 1280x720
    PreRoll 1
    Noaudio
    </stream>
    <stream>
    Feed feed.ffm
    Format swf

    Then I'm trying to retrieve the rtsp stream from the ffserver :

    So, what is the configuration issue for ffserver, or may be it is a bug of the ffserver ?
